@exciana Although, I'm still curious about many more of your experiences growing up with Autism/Asperger's. And how it got you all connected to understand yourself widely.
In other words, how did you manage to work among so much struggle?
@exciana The autism spectrum really has its highs and lows, and yet, we are all united by the same or similar experiences. And that's being truly seen.
Counting the seconds for the next one.
@exciana It even affected the real life perspective of Japanese people towards trucks.
I saw an article that said that Japanese truck drivers completely disagree with the truck trope, since it affects their public focus.
@exciana I share your point of view that, Isekai anime has a lot of tropes that just show a power fantasy that makes any protagonist completely bland.
999 levels, waifu harems, generic medieval plots, no wonder people are starting to get tired.
They're sending everyone to Isekai.
@exciana You know... I know that you're a big Lain fan so I gotta recommend you an anime that subverts the human to god trope.
Mob Psycho 100.
It's like Lain's premise but backwards.
Instead of Human to God, it's God to Human.
Definitely a must watch
@exciana How about Parasyte -the maxim-
Or even Gundam's GQuuuuuuuX
There are a lot of examples of great anime among the Isekai slop
You need to dig deeper, sometimes a great story doesn't need to be convoluted to be good.
@exciana I mean, I can't blame you that anime had been centered in power fantasies, Kirito level 999-style.
However, there are still good anime that will make you think otherwise
Mob Psycho 100
Takopi's Original Sin
Monster
Anohana
Welcome to the NHK
Even Bocchi the Rock!
@exciana Simple words, presents and money are not enough.
There has to be an understanding of each other's emotions
Because without communication, failure will be the only outcome.
They say the truth sets you free.
@exciana Love is... Complicated. And so is friendship. For it to last for a long time, it has to be proven by actions, by reassurance, by presence.
Because otherwise, it starts to get weary until the fire runs out.
Like a flower, either you water it up or you let it dry.
Somehow you see me in the dark
Too long I lived in fear, now it's too late
No, I don't want to go, but I chose my own fate
I hate you, but you'll still miss me
