How to create a conviction on XO

Anyone can turn an opinion into a live market on XO @xomarket . They call it a Conviction. You write the claim, define how it resolves, put real money behind the side you believe, and other people can trade against or with you.
Creators also earn a cut of the trading fees the market generates for as long as it stays active.

HERE IS THE EXACT PROCESS, START TO FINIDH.

Step-by-step: Creating a Conviction

Go to https://t.co/xwPLlRIX4n, log in (Google, X, or wallet), and make sure your account can create. Creation is gated, you usually need the Catalyst badge (connect your X account, maintain a 10-day peck-in streak, and earn 500 Conviction Points). Once the Create button is available, follow these five steps. You can let the AI draft most of it or fill everything manually.

1. Start the claim
Click Create a Conviction. Enter a clear title, pick a category and define the two outcomes (YES and NO). Keep the title specific enough that two strangers would understand the exact same thing.

Example: “WILL NOOBIT MAKE $50K THIS WEEK?” rather than “Will NOOBIT MAKE MONEY?”

2. Set the resolution rules
This is the most important step. Set the exact resolution date and time (UTC). Write the overall rules, the precise conditions for YES and for NO, and name one or more sources that will still exist at resolution time. YES and NO must cover every possible outcome with no overlap and no gap. Explicitly say what happens if the source is unavailable, corrected, or ambiguous. Two people reading the rule should reach the same conclusion. The AI can draft this, always review and edit it yourself before moving on.

3. Back your conviction
Choose the side you actually believe in. Place a seed order of at least $10 and set a seed price between 5¢ and 95¢. This is a real position, not a formality. Your order seeds the order book and becomes the first price other traders see. There is also a separate $1 creation charge.

4. Make it yours (optional)
Add a short thesis explaining why you took that side (this is commentary only the formal rule still decides the outcome). Upload a cover image so it stands out in the feed.

5. Preview and submit
Review the entire market one last time: title, rules, sources, date, your side and seed price, image.
Then sign and submit. XO creates the market and places your seed order. Do not retry if something looks uncertain, you can accidentally create a duplicate.
After submission the market goes through any review and then appears. Share the link. If it attracts enough trading activity it can graduate to a full Prediction Market with more visibility.
