Most people don’t need more information.
They need to notice what’s already in front of them.
The weird habit.
The hidden assumption.
The thing everyone accepts because everyone else accepts it.
The ordinary moment that becomes absurd when you look at it from the wrong angle.
That’s the kind of thing I’m interested in finding.
The stuff you’ve seen a thousand times but never actually looked at.
I genuinely thought this was a parody account.
Nope. This man is actually running for Congress.
He's publicly threatening to drag people's families into his crusade while portraying himself as some righteous defender of civil liberties.
How do you threaten innocent families and still convince yourself you're the good guy?
The lack of self-awareness is staggering.
This is personal. Don’t fucking touch them. They are my fucking friends.
The next time I see a peaceful protester use their First Amendment rights and get violently confronted by a security guard, a police officer, or Secret fucking Service…or…assaulted by MAGA…I’m going to highlight you. I’m gonna make it fucking personal. I’m gonna dig into your past and I’m gonna highlight your fucking family. And if you don’t think I can, you’re fucking crazy.
If you don’t think I have the power right now, or the attention, to reach into your little fucking bubble and touch you, you’re out of your fucking mind.
I’m gonna watch every fucking rally. The next person that lays hands violently on one of my people is gonna be completely fucked for the rest of your fucking life.
This is your last warning.
Carry on
@MarkMadDogDavis "I'll dig into your past. I'll highlight your family. I have the power to reach into your life. This is your last warning."
Buddy, that's a villain monologue.
The fact that you delivered it while imagining yourself as the hero is the most concerning part.
There is a person who hates drama.
You can identify them because they are currently explaining the drama in extraordinary detail.
They know every participant.
Every screenshot.
Every motive.
Every chronological development.
They are exhausted by drama and therefore maintaining the most comprehensive archive of it available.
That's basically the same as wishing death upon ordinary people in the EU and Japan and telling them to hurry up, bend over, and offer their asses to Muslims.
90% of Japanese people are also naive idiots who have lived in peace for too long. But America has become so wealthy that far too many Americans are just as hopelessly unaware of the danger.
If there were no enemies and no threats, fine. You could just look away from politics.
But when we're at a point where we might be heading toward World War III with Muslims, completely turning a blind eye to politics means you must have dementia or something.
It's basically the same as telling people to keep sucking on a lollipop while someone punches them in the face.
Seriously, cool your damn head and come back when you've got some sense.
Being capable enough to handle everything yourself doesn't mean you should.
Strength should increase the number of choices available to you, not trap you inside one more obligation.
A mechanic hears a bad engine.
A musician hears a bad mix.
A carpenter sees something slightly crooked.
Expertise is basically unlocking details that were always there.
@catturd2 I'll never understand why people trust and look up to actors.
Their whole life is literally getting paid to pretend to be someone they are not.
Yes, I could do it manually.
I could also calculate taxes with an abacus.
“It can be done the harder way” isn’t an argument against the easier tool.
And I don’t respect AI like it has feelings. I respect what it lets me accomplish. I feel roughly the same way about my washing machine.
