@housecor Key flaw is when you want to change two states at once, writing to URL is fast not instant, so needed to work around that. Smarter maybe to have used form with method=get for complex state changes.

@housecor Yes! TanStack Router has this. But it wasn’t ready yet when I started my latest project so I wrote a useParamState hook. Possibly overkill, but it allows for encoding of complex filter objects that I wanted to store there as well.

@zoecello At shows I’ve seen you’ve either commented on how silly it is that you have to unplug everything and go stand behind the curtain, or pointed out that there is no back stage and just played another piece. Doing either or just saying “last is last” is refreshing transparency.

@zoecello Definitely recommend having your contractor build in a shut-off valve, and shutting it off now that inspection as passed. Talk to any firefighter and they’ll tell you how much more damage (mold, etc.) they see from sprinkler system water than fire.
