Our vision is often more abstracted by what we think we know than by our lack of knowledge. - Krister Stendahl

[Senator Peter Welch @SenPeterWelch]

10 years ago, David Levin went to jail for launching a cyberattack on Florida’s election database.

It appears that the Trump Administration just hired him to monitor elections.

I want to know why.

[ian bremmer @ianbremmer]

i’ve never seen canadians—politically left, right and center—so angry with the united states as right now

many americans don’t care or know why it matters. but long term the united states benefits greatly from deep and trusted international relationships. and none have been closer (and closely integrated) than us-canada

[Mehdi Hasan @mehdirhasan]

In a just world, a less pro-Israeli west, this would be grabbing headlines everywhere.

[Decoding Fox News @DecodingFoxNews]

According to documents related to the defamation case filed by Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News Sean Hannity said if he thought the 2020 election was stolen.

"I did not believe it for one second."

Let's talk about a 'dishonest press,' Sean Hannity.

[Rev. Benjamin Cremer @Brcremer]

It should break every Christian’s heart that our faith was used as a political tool to bring our country to where it is today.

Imagine if a woman president crashed the economy and started a war with no end in sight, and her biggest, seemingly ONLY concern was building a ballroom and redecorating the White House.

[Zachary Foster @_ZachFoster]

Nothing to see here, just Israel live streaming its war crimes.

[The Lincoln Project @ProjectLincoln]

The Republican Party quietly deleted their own ad attacking Ken Paxton's record on crime... because Paxton is now the Republican Party's nominee to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.

Figured if the ad is important enough to delete, it's important enough to see...

[Adam Kinzinger (Slava Ukraini) 🇺🇸🇺🇦 @AdamKinzinger]

There is no way the republicans would be anything less that outraged if Obama had taken almost $2 billion of taxpayer dollars and given it to people he pardoned for trying to steal an election. Every republican in congress who doesn’t speak up and prevent this is complicit

[Mel @Villgecrazylady]

On the evening that Epstein hit the Powerball… while locked in jail… the Powerball headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida, where the numbers are drawn, experienced a “computer glitch” causing the live televised drawing to be postponed until the next day.

[Mohamad Safa @mhdksafa]

It’s wild how 3 deaths from Hantavirus got more media attention than Israel killing ~3,000 civilians in Lebanon.

[Adam Kinzinger (Slava Ukraini) 🇺🇸🇺🇦 @AdamKinzinger]

The fact that trump is going after Thomas Massie because of… the Epstein files (that trump himself promised to release in the campaign) and that the GOP is likely to go along with him, is astounding

[Justin Amash @justinamash]

More money is being spent to defeat @RepThomasMassie than any other U.S. House member in history.

Not because he can single-handedly change legislative outcomes—he has just one vote.

But because he exposes the lies and corruption of those who hold political and financial power.

[Gabe Sanchez @iamgabesanchez]

I’m sorry but what the fuck?!

[Bill Madden @maddenifico]

The most accurate portrayal of the pro-Jim Crow, white nationalist Roberts Supreme Court I've seen yet.

[James Tate @JamesTate121]

I’ve spent most of the last 48 hours doomscrolling through people’s reactions to the destruction of the Voting Rights Act by the Supreme Court. The people I follow most regularly have split into predictable camps. There are people like me and Adam Serwer who are trying to put the court’s decision into the larger context of the long-standing white hostility to Black voting rights and Black political power. There are the folks like Ian Millhiser who have tried to explain the immediate legal effects of the court’s unconscionable decision. The activist set is taking some time to digest what has happened and plan for next steps, with some vowing to “fight” and ultimately “win” in some fashion.
Predictable, too, has been the reaction from the right. White supremacists and, to the extent there’s a difference, Republicans have been giddy. I read one particularly risible piece of trash in National Review crowing about how the Supreme Court’s decision will allow Republicans to gerrymander away Black political power while stopping Democrats from restoring that power. I think that legal analysis is wrong. But what struck me was not the stupidity of the argument but how happy they were to make it.
That happiness, from whites, is something that most of the articles and analyses, including mine, have failed to capture sufficiently. It is as distressing to me as the actual decision and the terrible results that will result from it. Republicans always want you to believe that they’re not racist “in their hearts,” that they just happen to prefer a set of policies that coincidentally result in inequality, oppression, and less opportunity for non-white Americans. But this reaction to the death of the VRA proves they’re lying. They hate Black people, and they hate Black people who have political power most of all. https://t.co/UOfQ9hOV07

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.

[Ted Lieu @tedlieu]

The evidence is clear: Chief Justice John Roberts is a political actor who is leading the most partisan Supreme Court in American history.

[sarah @sahouraxo]

This is white phosphorus.

Israel is raining white phosphorus bombs on civilian areas in South Lebanon.

Call it what it is: A WAR CRIME.
