This is the "repugnant market" of the family court system at work. The incentives in the system aren't geared towards the welfare of children. The incentives are to protect abusive men, or to simply fleece parents by keeping them in court.

In my experience the post separation, legal abuse, & financial abuse has been far worse & enabled by the family court. Without the enablement of family court bad actors my abuser wouldnt be able to abuse any longer. Yet, here we are 10 years later w/ no end in site. #endimmunity
@TheblueTake Still two rules…… people who are able to use the shit on their shoulders to avoid legal entanglement… Who polices the police/ politicians / lawyers / Defence etc ?
@BarnettAdrienne Get rid of the litigation funders. They are harmful and predatory. Then the law firms will have to engage in arbitration, collaborative law, and the less stressful processes NO LAWYER SHOULD GET RICH FROM DIVORCE
family judge in quasi criminal contempt proceeding said my notice of appeal would signal compliance with dishonest order. i appealed & said judge was wrong. my appeal should not have been throw out in a pretrial hearing. home sold using fake possession order.
@grantwyeth Meanwhile, these divorces end up costing all the family’s savings, kid’s college fund, parent’s retirement savings. Then they shut everyone up and discredit the non abusive parent by handing the kids to the abuser. It’s quite the racket they have going on.
@DrEmmaKatz 'Truth forever on the scaffold, wrong forever on the throne. James Russell Lowell. We must all endeavour to expose corrupt and abusive systems, and we must also endeavour to expose the corrupt and abusive themselves, i.e., make it in personam.
solicitors representing both parties, concealed the abuser’s non-disclosure; resulting in a very unfair settlement; they then embarked on a trap of abusive litigation to erode equity and artificially force the sale of the marital home
Beware of the $$$ DARVO flip with (colluding) law firms who pursue dishonest applications: trapping the victim into a rabbit-hole of defensive litigation, causing the victim to ‘seem’ to be the ‘abusive’ vexatious litigant. @sra_solicitors@LSB_EngandWal@Legal_Ombudsman
it did not matter that the #familycourt appeal procedure was unlawful ie i was found to be in contempt in a quasi-criminal contempt trial, for not appealing a fraudulent order “the non-disclosure could not have been more clear”

'These cases are marked by one “high conflict litigant” who exerts power by dragging their ex into court repeatedly. The problem is not the couple—the problem is the abuser wants the case to drag on, relishing these chances to make the ex-partner suffer.'

@LSB_EngandWal ...a statutory policy statement is nothing if there are no consequences for misconduct and malpractice. The onus is on consumers to present their consumer complaint, only for it to be dismissed by the regulator.
@TheLawSociety@Legal_Ombudsman@sra_solicitors questions unanswered
my abusers & colluding lawyers exploited unlawful procedures, caselaw loopholes, & dishonest applications: this impacts me today. @CPSUK have evidence & prefer to victim-blame me @CommissionerDA
@VanessaBrownCan @legalella@CommissionerDA I visited my MP when dealing with continued abuse via the court system. He told me that they don’t interfere with the judiciary. 🤦🏼♀️
@divorcehostage@grantwyeth I have an econ and law degree. I saw this too and that’s why I think it’s so important that we reframe the issue and shift the focus to the industry itself. My ex is disordered. I don’t care to focus on him. My issue is with the people who knowingly enabled him for their
@JenniferSHirsch @NBedera do you have research on the creation of power inequity in other socially-produced processes e.g. self-regulated professional service providers (solicitors & barristers) selling services to unequal participants in the family court?
I would post their names, but mystifyingly, given their claims to being entirely blameless.. they have threatened me with action for defamation if I name them. These firms took over £200k each off me in fees.... for advice they don't feel comfortable about being shared.
