@gulaab_ali_ it's not even a dig anymore; heard a former amethi MP saying Rahul Gandhi was supporting the guy hit with pellet gun TO DISTRACT from vande mataram. unbelievable
@solaranvs in addition, not everyone is wired to learn a new language quickly in adulthood. it's an indirect anti-immigration policy for poor. rarely you hear any rich person being bullied for not speaking a particular language
@DearthOfSid reservation still not enough, horizontal one badly implemented.triggering if one sees the percentage of upper caste people in high paying govt jobs. more triggering if you see the news of a person with high paying job resigning due to caste discrimination.
@arisongm@Amockx2022 I believe that sanitation is a huge issue in India and there's less representation im sanitation work for the upper caste. So historically seen, reservation for deprived groups should only be, and increased, in Group A and B jobs. C and D for upper caste.
The Congress ecosystem asking, “If you’re bad at maths, how can one like to study physics or economics? or asking What job would one get by studying Physics and Economics together?” is honestly proving my point.
The old education system produced people who think education exists only to get a job, not for the joy of learning or the pursuit of knowledge.
It also produced the bizarre idea that unless you can solve equations, you can’t enjoy physics or economics.
You don’t need calculus to love Carl Sagan’s Cosmos. You don’t need mathematical modelling to read Adam Smith or Hayek and understand economic ideas.
There’s a difference between studying a subject and becoming a professional in that field.
Curiosity comes first. Specialisation comes later.
This is amazing!
