Much-needed good discussion around children’s books on Radio 4 and so I thought I’d quickly share just a few books that are on our children’s bedside tables at the moment. (most packed away as we are moving). Would love your recommendations too. #ChildrensBooks
@rojospinks Ten mins reading time before bed every day. Also, depending on how old your child is, weekend 15 minutes of "reading time" together. Even if you don't actually read, they'll get the idea at some point and you might actually read for a whole 15 minutes while they look at the pics.
@NellFrizzell Have an almost five year old who comes into our bed whenever he wakes up.. as does the 18 month old as he has a floor bed and has easy access. I was the same growing up with my parents 💓
@DrPragyaAgarwal My 4yo and 1yo have recently recovered, Piriton at night helped greatly + aveeno bath wash and lotion (both have oat oil), Eurax, Virasoothe and Poxclin. I've heard Calamine cream instead of the liquidy lotion is better.
