The Test
We took 22 types of common (essential) medicines (for heart, pain, antibiotics, liver, sugar) from these 7 different sources, and sent them to an accredited lab - Eureka Analytical Services Pvt. Ltd. in Kundli, Sonipat, an FSSAI-notified and US-FDA and NABL/ISO 17025 accredited laboratory providing comprehensive pharmaceutical, API, and drug testing services.
We tested 5 quality parameters according to standards of Indian Pharmacopeia:
✅ Drug content or assay
✅ Dissolution
✅ Uniformity
✅ Impurities
✅ Physical appearance

ALSO A WARNING NOTE:
Generics Aadhaar Pharmacy is considered a top generic medicine franchise, founded by india's youngest entrepreneur Mr. Arjun Deshpande and backed by veteran business Icon Mr Ratan Tata.
But all is not what it seems. We found something disturbing...
...that Generic Aadhar drugs were consistently MORE expensive than other generic options, particularly Jan Aushadhi.
Despite being marketed as a "generic" option, Generic Aadhar prices were significantly higher than government generic programs like Jan Aushadhi and sometimes even more expensive than branded drugs!
It seems like this franchise is using the terms "generic" and "aadhar" to lure patients into believing it has something to do with 'cheaper' government medicine schemes. It is not.
The price premium for Generic Aadhar medicines ranged from 67% to 887% higher than actual government schemes like Jan Aushadi.
Recommendation for cost-conscious patients: Prioritize Jan Aushadhi stores for the most affordable quality-tested generic medicines.

Indians spend 62-69% of their healthcare money on medicines ALONE.
Many families go bankrupt buying "branded" drugs thinking they're better.
But our lab tests reveal a SHOCKING truth...
The result?
100% of generic medicines PASSED quality tests!
Same quality as expensive brands - but up to 14x CHEAPER!
Figure legends (remember this)
Brand = expensive, original , BGENERIC = branded generics (generics manufactured or marketed by big brands) , JAUSH = Jan Aushadi , DAVA = Dava India Generics , Generic = trade/local brand generics (generics manufactured by not so big brands), GENADH = Generics Aadhar Pharmacy , KMSCL = Kerala State Govt. generics (given free of cost to patients).
Here are deeper insights on the results that can potentially save you tens of thousands of rupees every year.

Saw this patient yesterday. Raynaud’s looks different on darker skin—often dusky instead of the classic white, blue, red changes. Since most textbook images are based on lighter skin (European patients), we must recognize how it appears in Indian patients to avoid missing it
