A lot has been said. A lot has been promised. But beating students left, right and centre is unacceptable. There is no place for state violence against students in a democracy.
Time’s up, @narendramodi.
Apparently, this is one of the earliest known photographs of the sacred Kedarnath Dham, taken in 1882.
Couldn’t take my eyes off it.
No roads. No railheads. No helicopters.
Just the abode of Lord Shiva, cradled by the Himalayas
Back then, the yatra demanded time, endurance, & faith. The journey wasn’t incidental; it WAS the pilgrimage.
Today, access is easier. And that’s a good thing because it opens the experience to many more.
But perhaps something still needs preserving?
The ability to slow down & savour the experience of traveling.
Because journeys are about who we become along the way.

Dear @realDonaldTrump,
India is an old country, but a young nation, a land where 5,000 years of civilisation flows through the veins of a modern, ambitious people.
To call us a “hellhole” is to ignore who we truly are. This is a land where ancient Vedic wisdom and the timeless beauty of Hampi and the Taj Mahal stand alongside the fast growing energy of our tech cities. We are a blend of classical ragas and global cinema, of many languages, cultures, and ideas that continue to influence the world.
Maybe we are still a developing country. Many of our people are poor in monetary terms. But we are rich in values, in diversity, and in resilience. And we are working every day to build a better future for all.
At the same time, Indian talent is helping shape the modern world. From leading global technology companies to driving innovation across industries, Indians are at the forefront. CEOs of some of the world’s biggest companies come from India, and our engineers, entrepreneurs, and professionals power the digital backbone of the global economy.
We are not perfect, no nation is. But we are constantly building, improving, and moving forward.
India is not a “hellhole.” It is a country of 1.4 billion people rising, striving, and shaping the future on our own terms.

I was never a Ranveer Singh fan. Loved his work but the loud personality, the over the top outfits outside movies was too much for me. Dhurandhar changed that.
And it got me thinking about how badly India treats his craft.
This man has played a street rapper, a historical emperor, a cricket legend, a Maratha warrior and disappeared completely into every single one. No two performances look like the same person.
When he locked himself in for Khilji and needed therapy, people laughed. Called it attention seeking. Even fellow actors took digs at him.
Heath Ledger does it, he is a legend. Ranveer does it, its drama and attention seeking.
We just aren't used to an Indian actor taking his craft this seriously. So we mock it instead.
Took me long enough but I get it now. 🤷 #RanveerSingh #Bollywood
Celebrating my 70th birthday a day in advance with India’s magnificent win the #icct20worldcup2026 ! And another incredible performance, for the third match in a row, by my Thiruvananthapuram hero @IamSanjuSamson ! What more could one ask for ?!!
If there must be drama today, let it at least be on a cricket field.
Global tensions aside…
for the next few hours my entire emotional stability depends on
Ind vs NZ — perfect timing for the World Cup final. 🙏🏽🤷🏽♀️🤲🏽🇮🇳
