I'm not anyone's first choice.
I'm not anyone's favorite person.
People might tell me that I mean a lot to them, but there's always somebody they'll choose over me.
have you ever sat with a group of of friends and you just know you’re the least favorite friend in the group and it wouldn’t matter if you’re there or not
I don’t think people realize how heavy
it is to spend your whole life feeling like you don't belong anywhere.
Always the one left out, misunderstood,
or just... there. Never truly hated, but never truly chosen either.
That kind of loneliness doesn't just hurt, it changes you. It builds walls you never meant to build and makes it hard to believe you'll ever fit in anywhere.
i think I met the saddest version of myself this year. I’ve been feeling so drained, emotional, and lost lately. I don’t even recognize myself sometimes.
i cry over things I used to be strong enough to handle, and honestly, I hate feeling this sensitive. I keep telling everyone I’m okay, but deep down, I know I’m not.
i miss the old me the one who was happier, lighter, and didn’t overthink everything. I miss having a genuine spark in me.

nobody likes you when you're depressed.
plain and simple. we can talk all day about mental health and how important it is, but the moment you are depressed, people start to distance themselves. they see you as negative, a burden and someone too heavy to handle.
no one ever talks about the guilt of disliking your parents that have scarified a lot for you, like yeah i know u did a lot for us to be where we're at, but you also have beaten me down emotionally like no one else
Sending love to everyone who is just… tired. Life is a lot right now. Whether it’s decision fatigue, anxiety fatigue, information fatigue, career fatigue, social fatigue, financial fatigue, or the exhaustion of getting your life back together, give yourself space and grace.
my parents think i wake up late, but i literally just chill in my room after i wake up to avoid interaction as much as possible because i love being alone.
