The government might permit fees on UPI payments exceeding ₹2000.
This would not be a good move. The government should keep UPI free of any charges @nsitharamanoffc RT if agree
The @IncomeTaxIndia E-filing portal has been down for an hour, and no ITRs or tax payments are processing.

If not resolved, due dates should be extended!
Urgent Appeal to @CMOMaharashtra:
For the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, a due date of PT - Professional Tax has been PREPONED — from 31st March to 15th March 2026. This is unprecedented & deeply unfair to lakhs of honest taxpayers.
To make matters worse:
- The Mahagst portal is NOT working
- Businesses & professionals CANNOT file returns or make payments
- Taxpayers are WILLING to comply — the system is NOT letting them
Penalizing taxpayers for a government portal failure is absolutely unjust.
We strongly demand an immediate extension of the PTRC and PTEC deadline till 31 May and make portal working by 31 March
RT if agree
#MahaGST #ProfessionTax #PTRC
CS will enjoy 31 Dec, Thanks to MCA
CAs filing GST Annual Returns or ITR will work till midnight
Why @FinMinIndia is far from ground realities regarding deadline extensions and practicality especially @cbic_india & @IncomeTaxIndia department
#Extend_Due_Date_Immediately
Repeated delay in release of GSTR-9/9C utilities, without matching due date extensions creates unreasonable compliance pressure.
System driven compliance must be backed by system readiness and human accountability. This contradicts ease of doing business.

There is no harm in extending the due dates of Belated ITR, ROC Filings and GSTR 9 and 9C. There is no loss to the revenue. Kindly reply why extension is not being provided? There is no reason to be adamant about it. @IncomeTaxIndia@cbic_india@FinMinIndia@MCA21India@PMOIndia
