Thus we call on our fellow freedom loving Lasallians to take a stand. Now more than ever is a crucial time to express your patriotism by denouncing the foreign driven policies that continue to hinder our development as an independent nation.
ICYMI: On the final day of Balikatan exercises, progressive groups take to Camp Aguinaldo to express their full condemnation of the United States and the oppression experienced worldwide due to its war provocations; the genocide in Palestine & war aggressions with China.
However, we in DIWA Vito Cruz, declare that this administration in no way shares our views nor do they represent our sentiments.
We stand with Palestinians, our fellow countrymen, and the millions worldwide that fell victim to the United States' imperialist domination
ICYMI: DIWA Vito Cruz, along with other progressive organizations, conducted a picket protest to demand the immediate release of the Mayo Uno 6, who were illegally arrested and detained during a Labor Day protest.
Nevertheless, the release of the Mayo Uno 6 is a victory that shows the necessity of our collective action in defending our democratic rights. However, despite their release, the need for collective action does not end here.
Lasallians, we must stand in solidarity with jeepney drivers, operators, and workers! Oppose the Marcos Jr. administration's attempts to stifle dissent and perpetuate the agenda of imperialist countries such as the US! Defend the democratic rights of the Filipino people!
As long as the state's agenda persists in being foreign-driven, these protests will also persist to advocate for true national democracy for the Filipino people!
