@CynicalPublius They have also made it virtually impossible to get a recount, at least in L.A. County. They really don’t know even a general area of where any one ballot may be found because they also did away with precinct voting.
@yoalexrapz@PepeDutch17 Absolutely! At 13, our son developed Guillan-Barrè Syndrome after recovering from a virus, & he had progressive paralysis. He recovered unusually quickly, but was in a wheelchair for some months.
@ofcrdeonjoseph I’m so glad not to live in L.A. My city is bad enough. Similar situation with the vote counting, but it looks like the incumbents who are all failing to do their jobs are being reelected. *sigh* At least it’s not as bad as L.A. …yet.
@sakebu_cheese_ It’s better than my two millennial sons’. They did learn in elementary school, but went to public middle & high school where it wasn’t required and it just never really improved much. Thank you for learning this. You’re doing a great job at it!
@JustineBateman Most of the ones I get don’t even leave a message. I just block the number, knowing full well the next call will be from a different number.
@tanpukunokami No, not in every household. In my immediate & extended family, the only on for sure who had one was a policeman. That’s family in 2 locations thousands of miles apart. Normal enough, but not nearly as obsequious as it might seem.
@DavidPollackUSA She hasn’t. That would mean 50%+1 of the total vote. She has merely qualified for the primary, & anyone who says she has won is either deluded by wishful thinking, is lying, or is totally ignorant.
