"It’s known that at the end of the 30’s, the Bolsheviks in some places of the USSR, re-established certain monasteries, and filled them with their cronies – even with the unbaptized, and taught them the general Christian and monastic life. Then during the war of 1941- 45, they released these young “clergymen” throughout the whole nation: filling the churches with pseudo-clergy!"

They're not even that, as SDY's not holding to the historical position of the Church on the sanctity of St Augustine and the West up to 1054-80; this is 20th century Romanidean Renovationism. They don't represent the Byzantine Empire but modern faceless consumerist oligarchy.
“The Moscow Patriarchate gains new prestige and a new ally by its sponsorship of the "autocephaly' of the American Metropolia. And Orthodox Christians in America do not even suspect that they have become passive accomplices of a diabolic program of betrayal and anti-Christianity in the name of Orthodoxy.
But evil triumphs only in the eyes of men of little faith. "One cannot defend the Church by a lie." The True Orthodox Christians of these last days are defeated on every hand: mocked by the world and by the betrayers of Orthodoxy, despised, persecuted. And yet for one thing they are unconquerable: they stand in the truth. And thus, as our God is Truth, their ultimate victory is certain. Only, may the "hour of judgment" come soon for the betrayers of Orthodoxy!”— St. Seraphim Rose: (Russia’s Catacomb Saints) Pg. 486

SAINT THEOPHAN ON THE NEW CALENDAR
Question. Have the pastors of the Orthodox Church made a judgement concerning the calendar?
Answer. They have, many times - with regard to the introduction of the new Roman calendar both in private assemblies and in councils. A proof of this is the following. First of all, the Ecumenical Patriarch Jeremiah II, who lived at the same time as the Roman calendar reform, immediately, in 1582, together with his Synod condemned the new Roman system of chronology as being not in agreement with the Tradition of the Church. In the next year (1583), with the participation of Patriarchs Sylvester of Alexandria and Sophronius VI of Jerusalem, he convened a Church Council. This Council recognised the Gregorian calendar to be not in agreement with the canons of the Universal Church and with the decree of the First Ecumenical Council on the method of calculating the day of Holy Pascha
Through the labours of this Council there appeared: a Conciliar tome, which denounced the wrongness and unacceptability for the Orthodox Church of the Roman calendar, and a canonical conciliar Decree - the Sigillion of November 20, 1583. In this Sigillion all three of the above-mentioned Patriarchs with their Synods called on the Orthodox firmly and unbendingly, even to the shedding of their blood, to hold the Orthodox Menaion and Julian Paschalion, threatening the transgressors of this with anathema, cutting them off from the Church of Christ and the gathering of the faithful.
In the course of the following three centuries: the 17th, 18th and 19th, a whole series of Ecumenical Patriarchs decisively expressed themselves against the Gregorian calendar and, evaluating it in the spirit of the conciliar decree of Patriarch Jeremiah II, counselled the Orthodox to avoid it.
Question. Is the introduction of the new calendar important or of little importance? Answer. Very important, especially in connection with the Paschalion and it is an extreme disorder and ecclesiastical schism, which draws people away from communion and unity with the whole Church of Christ, deprives them of the grace of the Holy Spirit, shakes the dogma of the unity of the Church and, like Arius, tears the seamless robe of Christ, that is, everywhere divides the Orthodox, depriving them of oneness of mind; breaks the bond with Ecclesiastical Holy Tradition, and makes them fall under conciliar condemnation for despising Tradition.
Question. How must the Orthodox relate to the new calendarist schismatics, according to the canons?
Answer. They must have no communion in prayer with them, even before their conciliar condemnation.
When the 5th Ecumenical Council was discussing anathematizing Theodore of Mopsuestia after his death, the council justified itself, saying, "Do they not know, or maybe they know but feign ignorance, that the anathematization is nothing else but separation from God? Even if the wicked did not receive it from somebody through words, he proclaims anathema against himself through the deed, separating himself through his wickedness from the true life." Jeremiah, by the mercy of God, Archbishop of Constantinople — New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch.
As the Church of Old Rome, as if rejoicing in the vanity of its astronomers, imprudently changed the beautiful decrees about the holy Pascha, celebrated by Christians, which were established and determined by the 318 holy Fathers of the Holy and Ecumenical Council of the First Nicene, esteemed by Christians throughout the world, and celebrated as determined — for this reason becomes a cause of stumbling. For before our Mercy appeared Armenian men, asking about the practice of celebration, because they are also forced to accept these innovations.
For this reason, we had to say that this was decreed by the holy fathers. Our Mercy, having considered this together with the Blessed Patriarch of Alexandria and the Blessed Patriarch of Jerusalem and other Members of the Synod in the Holy Spirit, declares, clarifying the decision of the Holy Fathers regarding this matter.
Designated 1583 year from the Incarnation of the Word, November 20, Indiction 12.
† Constantinople — Jeremiah.
† Alexandria — Sylvester.
† Jerusalem — Sophronius and other Bishops of the Synod.
The decision of this Holy Synod with the anathema, Chapter Ζ.
Whoever does not follow the customs of the Church and what has been commanded by the Seven Holy Ecumenical Councils regarding the Holy Pascha and the calendar, and desires to follow the Gregorian Pascha and calendar, let him be anathema, expelled from the Church of Christ and the gathering of the faithful, as he opposes all the determinations of the holy Councils and desires to change and weaken them.
You, O Orthodox and pious Christians, remain in that which you have learned, in which you were born and raised, and when the necessity arises, even shed your blood to preserve the ancestral faith and confession; be on guard and pay attention to these things, so that our Lord Jesus Christ may help you, and may the prayer of our Mercy be with all of you. Amen.
