When I joined anyIP a little more than three years ago, @dizzda and @theyough had been working on it for a few years, and there were only three of us.
After the first couple of months of my joining, we all met together in the same city for a few months to brainstorm and exchange ideas. It was one of those crucial points in the business when we went from 1 to 100 in revenue and finally started to see the product evolve.
At that time, we were still far away from having people join the team and helping us grow anyIP.
Ben was the first person to join us about a year later. It was a lifesaver to have him take ownership of several crucial parts of the business.
Since then, our team has been slowly growing, and last week we did our first big team retreat. Most of the people we had never met IRL before and just exchanged through Slack and video calls.
Meeting everyone, sharing laughter, and enjoying moments together was a great way to get to know people outside our daily grind.
It sounds a bit cliché, but we are happy with all the amazing people we have on the team.
I’m proud to say we’ve built these connections not just professionally, but personally.
Looking forward to spending more time together and sharing this adventure with everyone on the team.
With the AI coding tools available now, it's much easier to just plug proxies and do your own scraping code instead of paying for an expensive scraping SaaS

I spent 18 years writing code before I started building businesses.
Now I see products like video game characters – something you build, level up, and grow day by day.
This perspective shapes how I approach anyIP
Before this, my co-founders @dizzda and @theyough had a successful VPN business. They saw a similar need for proxies, but for a B2B audience. More complex, more challenging technically – exactly what excites builders.
Like the next level of a game!
Most companies offering proxies treat them like a commodity. They overlook the real needs of businesses relying on that infrastructure.
What proxies still get wrong:
→ Focusing only on quantity, not quality
→ Treating clients impersonally, like just another number you sell IPs to
→ Providing unreliable service and slow support that breaks when you need it most
We're building anyIP differently. We're focused on the technical challenge of delivering the highest quality IPs, reliably, and with support that treats you like a partner, not a ticket number.
Because for companies scraping data or automating tasks, proxies aren't just tools. They're the entire engine of their operation.
And that's why I'm here.
I'd love to connect and discuss any data gathering challenges you're facing.
The xz fiasco has shown how a dependence on unpaid volunteers can cause major problems. Trillion dollar corporations expect free and urgent support from volunteers.
@Microsoft@MicrosoftTeams posted on a bug tracker full of volunteers that their issue is "high priority"
Cranelift is now available as a rustup component!
Explanations: LLVM is pretty slow to compile because it makes heavy optimizations on your code. Cranelift is the opposite: very few optimizations but in exchange, your code compiles very fast.

This is the project I have been secretly working on during the past 3 years.

If you are a PYTHON programmer, you have to read this shocking fact revealed by a group of Portuguese researchers.
While implementing the same logic on both 'C' & 'Python':
If 'C' consumes 1 unit of energy, 'Python' consumes 79 units.

You’re unfocused right now because you’re inflamed. You can’t remember things right now because you’re inflamed. You’re not as sharp as you want to be right now because you’re inflamed. And the worst part is, you probably don’t even know it.

🦀 As of Rust 1.62 (going into beta this week), std::sync::Mutex, RwLock, and Condvar no longer do any allocations on Linux. 🎉
Benchmarking locks is extremely tricky, as their performance depends heavily on the exact use case, but there are very noticable differences:
