I think it's cute that no one seems to think you knew how precarious Wildlight's situation was before you announced at TGA. Tencent is on your board. They funded a game that ran out of runway and still wasn't finished. You give them a free boost in some last ditch attempt to salvage it. They shuttered because they were mismanaged and didn't even bake in enough time to run the service for 6 months post launch.

Just listened to @maximilian_ go on a rant about how much he hates generative AI, but he LOVES upscaling in video games and feels these are the types of AI that should be pushed forward and used more often in gaming.

Upscaling IS generative AI. It accomplishes what it does by being trained on content (shots of architecture, assets, objects, renders of similar style and art direction) and using it to approximate what the pixels should look like in order to complete an image and supersample it. It might even be STEALING these images for training! *gasp*

It sincerely hurts my brain when streamers I enjoy watching speak so confidently on topics they clearly know nothing about, and spit on anyone who disagrees with their stupid takes.

You gotta be delulu to stream to 10k-20k+ viewers and feel that through the law of averages you are somehow more intelligent and knowledgeable than ALL of them.

I get that you guys are a small team but it would be nice to get an update on the lack of resolution options. If I want to play in a window while I do other things it creates a tiny 800x480 window which I have to stretch manually to some desired size. *Every single time I launch the game it doesn't even save it.* Really strange for a game in 2025.

V-Sync is also broken. It does nothing either on OR off. Just locks at 60.

Just takes a few moments to let us know what's going on with some of these things.

@FionnTheBrave I read your @polygon article about Silksong parrying and it reignited my disdain for this industry of getting paid to write articles and pretend you are an authority before taking the time to actually become one.

What you describe as parry isn't a perfect parry, which does exist and indeed does have the sound and clang you claim is missing. It also existed in Hollow Knight.

I understand that your livelihood depends on writing pieces and trying to get them out early and often. But please also work on making them accurate. It's a huge disservice to the people who take the time to read and is damaging to your reputation.

@JiggyNegus @monsterhunter Check the consumables. It's almost cheating on some of the weapon choices. Dagger/Gunlance comes with demon drug and well done steak. Max stamina and damage. Protective Polish on daggers with a Whetfish Scale+. Get to work bro!
