In 2023, @amadon displayed No Rioters on an enormous billboard in Hong Kong. Hidden within the glitch animation were the names and prison sentences of pro-democracy activists. The work was removed after its political content came to light.
The following year, Amadon brought a similar approach to New York's Times Square. His commissioned artwork Passive Observer featured blinking eyes, interrupted by fleeting frames referencing the war in Gaza. The message appeared so briefly that viewers could easily miss it.
In /redlightgreenlight, an armed figure lies against a grainy green background, interrupted by sudden bursts of digital distortion. The imagery evokes surveillance and military violence, while the glitches repeatedly obscure the scene. Presented in Lisbon as part of Still Here (2026), the work continues Amadon's exploration of visibility, power, and the use of digital art to confront political violence.

An Open Letter to @cryptopunks Owners
@nodefnd acceptance of the Punk Strategy (PNKSTR) donation raises serious questions about stewardship, accountability, and the risks being taken on behalf of Punk holders.
My thoughts below.
A new art primitive for digital art nearly complete. If youโre an artist interested in playing with it first, lmk - going to have a private beta. Broadly, we donโt need marketplaces or platforms, royalties are part of settlement and youโre not restricted to popular art file types. Iโll share the white paper publicly soon.
