@Techlife32 are you able to get any info if AT&T has any upgrades slotted for Winchester Indiana and Portland Indiana. Both cities do not have 5G+ and the network is seriously going to trash where nothing loads
@Techlife32 Had some “High Score” whatever that’s supposed to mean Speedtest on AT&T in Richmond Indiana’s Walmart the tower was right outside last test the upload was better when I moved but the download went down.
Hoping you get your channel back too!
@Techlife32@DarkenMoon_ I’m assuming that will just be band 12/17 and band 14 right? That’s insane. People with LTE devices are definitely going to need to upgrade at that point. Wonder how much longer before the big 3 stop allowing LTE phone and tablet activations
@Tony1517Buckeye My 17 pro max has been a major upgrade over the 15 pro max I had in terms of cell performance on AT&T and no more overheating the performance over all has been way better too I’m glad we skipped the 16 series. I am worried about the 18’s though being rumored to have Apple modems
@Techlife32 If it is coming back they had better not still have it on Qci 8 and it better not break my 5G Standalone access. Knowing our luck though it will probably just be unlimited “full speed” Qci 9 hotspot 😂
Afternoon data prompted us to upgrade our map to include a likely section in northern portions of Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio due to an elevated threat of very large hail and tornadoes.
@Tony1517Buckeye@Techlife32 It’s great to see it, I’m hoping by the end of this year these Nokia sites around here and some of the older Ericsson sites like the one in Winchester Indiana gets some love. Dropping down on to any older site is a terrible experience. But now they need to fix this latency issue
@Techlife32 feel free to share, this was AT&T this morning in the small Village of West Milton Ohio. I’ve been noticing even in small towns and very rural areas the network starting to preform like this around here with more upgrades coming to sites in my area soon!
@bam_weather Okay thank you! I’d like to record it this year, last year I tried to record it with Richmond Indiana’s WFMG G 101.3 but it seemed they don’t get a very good signal of the NWS, with my TEF Radio hooked to my web server I get Indy and Columbus IN stations so I’m going to try them
@bam_weather That’s cool I remember 2023 not being that bad, I was worried the cold was going to stick around. Just don’t want another 2024 spring with all the tornadoes we had
@bam_weather Okay thank you! I’m really enjoying clarity! Looking forward to using it especially for severe weather. What year is this spring looking to be like still 2014?
