12 million people unemployed. 12 million. Tjo😖😳! On top of that, you have doctors who are unemployed. 1,800 junior doctors. How do you have doctors unemployed? In what society does that even make sense @HealthZA?
We’re standing with our parents at Densa Sawmill, demanding better wages and decent working conditions.
Our people deserve better.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the Mogalakwena Sub-Region will undertake a march to the Mogalakwena Local Municipality to demand the immediate resignation of the Mayor, Thulani Taueatsoala , for his continued failure to provide decisive political leadership and address the serious challenges confronting the people of Mogalakwena.
The EFF has, on several occasions, observed the Mayor’s failure to provide leadership when communities need it most. His inability to intervene decisively in matters affecting basic service delivery has reached an unacceptable level. The ongoing municipal workers’ strike has severely affected municipal services, leaving communities exposed to deteriorating conditions that potentially threaten their health, safety and dignity.
We ask a simple question: How does the Mayor sleep at night while the communities he claims to lead are forced to live under deteriorating conditions, with essential municipal services disrupted and their wellbeing placed at risk?
A Mayor cannot remain silent and absent when workers are on strike, services are disrupted and communities are suffering. Political leadership requires taking responsibility, engaging affected workers, finding sustainable solutions and ensuring that residents continue to receive the basic services to which they are entitled.
The continued failure to resolve the challenges facing the municipality demonstrates that Mogalakwena Local Municipality is suffering from a serious absence of political leadership. Communities cannot continue to suffer because of a Mayor who chooses to turn a blind eye to critical matters directly affecting service delivery and the daily lives of residents.
The EFF therefore calls for the immediate resignation of Mayor Thulani Tauyatsoala . Mogalakwena deserves leadership that is present, accountable and capable of responding decisively when communities and workers are facing serious challenges.
The EFF will march to Mogalakwena Local Municipality together with the communities of Mogalakwena to make it clear that the continued deterioration of services and failure of political leadership will no longer be tolerated.
THULANI TAUYATSOALA MUST RESIGN!
