Words matter. You can criticize and tear down or you can speak life into people. Leaders worth following use words that encourage, build up, promote, inspire and give hope.
The language you use becomes the culture create.
Leaders set the tone. Be worth following.
Dear young people, never lose your courage to dream big and to live life completely! Adopt the culture of care and spread it. Become champions of fraternity. Face life’s challenges by letting yourselves be guided by God and by good counsellors. #YouthDay
3 things we can do more of this week...
1. Love (unconditionally)
2. Pray (for peace, wisdom and unity)
3. Focus (on being our best and bringing out the best in others)
How you treat people says everything there is to say about you. It doesn’t matter how smart, accomplished, wealthy or cool you think you are. Strength of character is beyond any measure. Being a good person with a kind heart is what matters most & will benefit you for a lifetime!
Who you are isn’t based on someone else’s opinion or approval. Know who you are & don’t waste time trying to fit others’ definitions. The only person you have to prove anything to is yourself. If other people don’t accept you for who you are, you don’t need them. Go be yourself!
Treat people right. Appreciate them, encourage them, support them and make them feel like they matter (because they do). Do this at home, at work, at school, at the store, etc. Do this with people you know and people you don't. Try your best every day to make someone else's day.
Some days you’re going to be 100% warrior & some days you’ll be broken. There’ll probably be a little of both in every day of your life. What’s important is that you never quit trying. You keep showing up. You fight until you can stand. Don’t ever let “broken” have the last word!
Be kind today. Say thank you. Hold the door open. Compliment as many people as you can. Point out the good. When you go out of your way to make someone else’s day, you’ll make your day great too.
Be thankful today for all your blessings. Family, friends, faith. Take a few minutes to appreciate all you have & the people who care about you. Nothing is more important. Nobody accomplishes anything alone, so be grateful & thankful for & humbled by those who support & love you.
#Friendship is one of life’s gifts and a grace from God. Faithful friends, who stand at our side in times of difficulty, are a reflection of the Lord’s love, His gentle and consoling presence in our lives.
Men and women who pray know that hope is stronger than discouragement. They believe that love is more powerful than death, and that love will surely triumph one day, even if it be in times and ways we do not know. #Prayer
