La Police fédérale éthiopienne crée par la présente le programme de bourses « Dr Workneh Gebeyehu » en sciences médico-légales à l’Académie d’enquête criminelle de l’Université de la police éthiopienne (EPU), sur le campus de Sandafa, en Éthiopie.

Le programme de bourses:

Le programme de bourses « Dr Workneh Gebeyehu » en sciences médico-légales à l’
Académie d’enquête criminelle sera mis en œuvre par l’Université de la police éthiopienne (EPU), située à Sandafa, en Éthiopie. Ce programme de bourses vise à soutenir le développement académique et professionnel de personnalités exceptionnelles issues de la région de l’IGAD qui se sont engagées à poursuivre une carrière dans les forces de l’ordre.

Ce programme de bourses de l’EPU a pour objectif de former les futurs dirigeants qui incarneront les valeurs de service public, de persévérance et d’innovation qui ont caractérisé la brillante carrière de S.E. le Dr Workneh.

Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu exemplary leadership, dedicated service, and significant contributions to the Ethiopian Federal Police (EFP), in particular, and the public service of Ethiopia, in general; COGNIZANT of Dr. Workneh’s relentless commitment to regional integration and his service to the IGAD region.
The Ethiopian Federal Police, hereby, establishes, Dr Workneh Gebeyehu
Scholarship Program in Forensic Science at Crime Investigation Academy of the Ethiopian Police University (EPU) at Sandafa campus, Ethiopia.
The Scholarship Program:
Dr. Workneh Gebeyehu Scholarship Program in Forensic Science at the
crime Investigation Academy shall be provided by the Ethiopian Policy
University (EPU) located in Sandafa, Ethiopia. The scholarship program aims to
support the academic and professional development of outstanding individuals
from within the IGAD region who are committed to pursuing careers in law
enforcement.
This scholarship program at the EPU seeks to cultivate future leaders who
exemplify the values of public service, perseverance, and innovation that have
characterized H.E. Dr. Workneh's distinguished career.
Furthermore, this scholarship program reaffirms the EFP's recognition to the
indelible legacy of H.E. Dr Workneh Gebeyehu to the Ethiopian Federal Police and to his relentless service to the IGAD region and his commitment to regional integration.

The IGAD Health and Social Development Division convened its weekly Project Updates Meeting this morning at the IGAD Headquarters and via videoconference to review project implementation progress, upcoming activities, project burn rates, procurement and recruitment updates, implementation challenges, and the Division’s strategic outlook.

Chaired by H.E. Amb. Moussa A. Meigague (@meigague), Director of Health and Social Development, the meeting reaffirmed IGAD’s commitment to effective, transparent, and results-based project management aimed at improving the lives and well-being of communities across the region.

On the occasion, H.E. Amb. Moussa A. Meigague underscored the importance of regular project monitoring in achieving sustainable results.
