Thank you, TechCabal, for spotlighting our mission.
At TransferXO, we're building financial infrastructure that makes it easier for Nigerians to earn, spend, save, and move money across borders, all from one connected platform. While we're proud of how far we've come, we're even more excited about what's ahead as we continue improving our products, strengthening our infrastructure, and delivering a better experience for every user.
Here's to building the future of borderless finance together. ๐
TransferXO's Response to 'The Fintech Reliability Crisis; Why Features Mean Nothing Without Uptime'
At TransferXO, we welcome constructive feedback. As a financial technology company operating in a highly regulated industry, we understand that trust is earned through consistent service delivery, transparency, and continuous improvement. We therefore appreciate every opportunity to review our processes and improve our customers' experience.
With respect to the published article by Mr Agunechemba Ekene, we would like to provide additional context regarding the transaction in question.
According to our transaction logs, the withdrawal request was initiated at 11:58 AM and was successfully approved at 12:10 PM, representing a processing time of approximately 12 minutes.
While we certainly do not claim to operate at the speed of light, every withdrawal request must pass through internal verification and compliance checks to ensure we remain fully aligned with applicable regulatory and security requirements. These verification processes are not optional, they exist to protect our customers, safeguard the integrity of our platform, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Our service level target for such transactions is 30โ45 minutes. However, our operational goal is to approve or decline transactions within the first 15 minutes whenever possible. In this instance, the transaction fell within that target, having been approved in under 12 minutes.
This is not to suggest that we consider our current performance the finish line. We recognise that customers naturally expect financial transactions to be completed as quickly as possible, particularly during time-sensitive situations. We continue to invest in improving our infrastructure, automation, and operational processes to reduce processing times even further and deliver an even better experience.
Regarding the customer support experience referenced in the article, when Mr. Ekene raised his concerns on X, our team responded promptly and escalated the matter to our support team. An attempt was made to continue the conversation and resolve the concern directly; however, we did not receive a response to that outreach.
We understand that frustration can accompany delays or uncertainty around financial transactions, and we never dismiss our customers' concerns. At the same time, effective resolution often depends on two-way communication between our support team and the customer.
We also acknowledge the observation about support requesting additional account details after a transaction reference had already been shared. While there are legitimate security and verification reasons why support agents may request specific identifying information, we recognise that the customer experience should be as seamless as possible. We are continually refining our internal workflows to ensure information is shared efficiently across teams while maintaining the highest standards of customer privacy and account security.
At TransferXO, reliability is not simply about processing transaction, it is about continuously improving every aspect of the customer journey. We remain committed to building faster systems, providing responsive support, and maintaining the regulatory and security standards that protect every user on our platform.
We are disappointed to see this experience presented in a manner that does not fully reflect the complete sequence of events. Regardless, we respect every customer's right to share their experience and will continue to take all feedback in good faith. Our focus remains on learning, improving, and delivering a platform that our users can rely on with confidence.
To our customers and partners, we thank you for your continued trust. We remain committed to earning that trust every single day.

Ajo should not be by force actually. ๐
A lot of people just don't know when to stop, and there's also the fear of defaulting on other members. Maybe that's why some people end up borrowing money just to meet their contribution deadlines.
But now, there are digital platforms that make things a lot easier and less stressful. No one should be putting anyone under undue pressure. If you don't have money to contribute at a particular time, it's fine, there shouldn't be unnecessary drama or harassment around it.
That's part of the thinking behind Group Savings on TransferXO.
With Group Savings, users can create or join a group with friends, family, colleagues, or community members and contribute towards any goal, whether it's rent, a trip, school fees, a business project, an emergency fund, or something entirely different.
And because life isn't one-size-fits-all, contributions can be made in both fiat and crypto, giving everyone more flexibility in how they save together.
This isn't the way to go.
Stablecoins are definitely pushing regulators and policymakers to adapt, but innovation has always tested existing frameworks.
Rather than seeing adoption as a threat, it may be more productive to see it as a signal: people want faster, cheaper, and more accessible ways to move value.
The goal shouldn't be to slow innovation, but to build clear, balanced regulations that protect users while enabling progress. ๐ณ๐ฌ
Most people wait for 'extra money' before they save.
The wealthiest savers do the opposite.
A small amount set aside every week can outperform those occasional big deposits because consistency gives compound growth more time to work its magic.
โฆ2,000 saved weekly beats โฆ20,000 saved once in a while.
Small habits. Big results. ๐
How much do you think you could comfortably save every week? ๐
How many times have you found something you wanted to pay for online... only to get stuck at checkout? ๐
From subscriptions and online courses to international shopping and digital tools, having a virtual dollar card changes the game.
The real question is:
What's the ONE thing you've used your virtual dollar card for that made life easier?
Drop it in the comments ๐
You might give someone their next 'I didn't know I could do that' moment.
