Madam Secretary, with all due respect, “experienced” Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out.
I know you’re lashing out because DOGE is uncovering your family’s obscene grifting via USAID, but I won’t let you lie and distort facts. The FAA administrator announced he resigned over a month before Trump took office, and the air traffic controllers were always exempt from Trump’s civil service buyouts.
The previous administration shamelessly used USDOT as a slush fund for the Green New Scam, throwing away money and resources on wasteful environmental and social justice projects rather than updating our nation’s antiquated air traffic control systems and other critical infrastructure.
I’m returning this department to its mission of safety by using innovative technology in transportation and infrastructure. Your team had its chance and failed. We’re moving on without you because the American people want us to make America’s transportation system great again. And yes, we’re bringing the 22-year-olds with us.
SILO has been SO good. Two seasons in with the season finale Friday.
Every episode is a constant state of suspense, discovery and intrigue.
If you’re lookin for something to enjoy at night after a long day. 🌟
I have lived in a deep blue state my entire life.
Most of the people I know and love are voting for Kamala Harris.
I don’t think they’re stupid. Or selfish. Or deplorable. These are all kind, caring, intelligent, lovely people.
I just think they’re wrong. And I think they’ve been misled.
What disturbs me is that these people will reflexively think I’m stupid, selfish, and deplorable for voting against their beloved candidate.
They will surely think I’ve ’drunk the kool-aid’ and ‘fallen into a cult’ because they simply cannot fathom how another decent and smart woman could come to such a radically different conclusion.
It’s so disheartening.
The so-called party of tolerance and inclusion holds exactly zero tolerance and inclusion for contrasting viewpoints that challenge their claimed moral superiority.
None of us can see around corners. A vote was never meant to be seen as a moral absolute.
I’m not sure who said this first but…my vote is a chess move, not a valentine. It’s a strategic play based on all the evidence I’ve seen.
I’m voting to defend free speech, to protect women’s sports, to control our borders, to correct inflation, and to prevent inhumane and coercive mandates from ever being imposed on free Americans again.
I’m voting for Trump. 🇺🇸
How did the U.S. get its hands on Soviet titanium? Pizza ovens?
Able to withstand the hellish temperatures caused by flying at speeds in excess of Mach 3.0, titanium became the perfect solution for the SR-71 Blackbird. The only issue was that the Soviet Union was the greatest global supplier of titanium during the Cold War. In order to weave around this pretty significant roadblock, the U.S. used Third World countries and fake companies to acquire the amount of titanium needed to design the SR-71 airframes.
According to former Blackbird pilot Colonel Rich Graham, “The airplane is 92% titanium inside and out. Back when they were building the airplane the United States didn’t have the ore supplies – an ore called rutile ore. It’s a very sandy soil and it’s only found in very few parts of the world. The major supplier of the ore was the USSR. Working through Third World countries and bogus operations, they were able to get the rutile ore shipped to the United States to build the SR-71.” one of the fake operations used to procure the Soviet’s titanium was for pizza ovens.
The USSR believed the bogus American companies seeking this metal for pizza ovens, providing the SR-71’s engineers with the titanium needed to create the formidable platform. And Russians easily believed that the US needed titanium for thousands of pizza ovens. After all, they fraudulently possibly told their comrades that the United States was a lazy country that probably couldn’t even cook for itself. They need it to go out to buy pizza…
This was a pivotal moment between two great powers that desperately wanted to defeat the other. Ultimately, through third parties and fake companies, the US, “managed to unobtrusively purchase the base metal from one of the world’s leading exporters – the Soviet Union,” according to the book Skunk Works by Ben Rich, a Lockheed Martin engineer who worked on the SR-71.
“The Russians never had an inkling of how they were actually contributing to the creation of the airplane being rushed into construction to spy on their homeland.” I love this story, Linda Sheffield.

Having been awake for the last few decades and having a memory of, e.g., the Russia collusion scam and the Hunter Biden laptop, I would basically assume that a CIA denial is confirmation of truth and a CIA confirmation of something means it's completely made up.
