Seems that if you have lots of tattoos, you can get away with wearing lots of crazy sh!t, like boater hats, whenever you damn well please. That would be nice.
The show has its faults, for sure. But I’ve come to love the dissonance of incidental music. Will Geer was a great actor. And the old cars and motorcycles were fun. AND they had a little bar (the Dew Drop Inn!) with live music.
@XMartinsMusicX My original Factory "Closer" cassette was sadly stolen, a long time ago, when I was 17. So that album holds more mystique for me.
Oh and it's definitely not pronounced "Clozer" ... according to the schooling I recently received from Peter on the subject.

@thesoggyblanket Caricature artist at events. I recently met one at a big fancy house party we were were both working, and she showed me her calendar. Booked solid.
@girdley Paul Jr. contacted me once to buy a matching pair of gramophones (as seen in my profile pic). They're shiny and beautiful, yes, but moreso, they are expertly resto-modded for great sound. Paul just wanted some "display" pieces, though, and I guess my price was too high. Nice guy.
I met Conan O’Brien once, a few days before his Late Nite show was about to begin in 1993. I was selling tickets at a tiny art movie house. It was packed and I was the only person who recognized Conan. I let him in for free and wished him good luck. He was thrilled by that.
@JamesMelville I was at the premiere matinee in Leicester Square. Theater packed with teens cutting class. Immediately popped into HMV to buy the soundtrack. London felt so amped up on this film, great times.
