@Beyslarynx I dont mean this disrespectfully as I love Beyonce as well, but the janet album was a phenomenon. In addition to all the hits, this record was her sexual outing and the cover is one of the most iconic pictures of all time . It's impact can't be understated and that isn't bias
@Beyslarynx@BARDIKEEN @IconicBase_ @grandelovesj I mean, were you alive in 1993-1995? Not taking anything away from Beyonce, but the janet era has been one of the biggest "eras" of any artist. Janet was one of the few singers your could be three years releasing songs from the same album, all being hits
@IconicBase_ Most are going to say Beyonce and I understand why they would. But for those of us who were around for the Janet era we know how for 3 years this album DOMINATED. She was everywhere and people couldn't get enough from her. This album alone had seven singles that all charted.
@pedro30silveira Damn, you must have not been around during that era. It was very much an intentional tone down of her image. She herself said this in many interviews and even in the linear notes of Something to Remember.
@AliferGuerreiro@pedro30silveira That song is about her mother. She has said it in many interviews, most notably the one she did with Kurt Loder during the making of Take a Bow
I've been saying this for years, the plan has always been for him to stay longer than two terms. Initialy there will be some constitutional pushback but ultimately his people will fall in line and justify it.
