And he doesn’t know how to say it. That there was a day, in a gold-trimmed room, when president Trump sat across from a leader who had not slept properly in three years, a man whose cities were being bombed while he spoke, and instead of standing beside him, he lectured him. About gratitude. On camera. With his deputy joining in, the two of them talking down to a wartime president as if he had come to beg for a favour rather than to keep his country alive.

“It’s complicated,” is all he manages.

But the boys at school are closer to the truth than he wants to admit.

Ukraine won the way a man wins a fight after his cornerman walks out halfway through. It won despite that room, not because of it. It won because Europe helped, Canada helped, Australia helped, Japan helped, South Korea helped, and most of all because of the fighting spirit in Ukraine, and because the Ukrainians refused to die quietly, and because history has a long memory for the people who showed up and an even longer one for the people who didn’t.

One day the textbooks will have a photo of that meeting. And the caption will not be kind.

Every single day that Europe refuses to give Russia’s frozen assets to Ukraine proves that we are too cowardly to make a bold move, seemingly preferring to let the war drag on instead of doing what it takes to end the war sooner.

Because this war is existential for Ukraine, they will never stop fighting until they win. Furthermore, since defending territory is far less draining than launching aggressive assaults, the situation favors a Ukrainian victory. The only variable is whether Europe wants to hand over the money to speed up the process or keep dragging its feet.

Giving Russia’s frozen assets to Ukraine right now would allow them to heavily exploit their current superiority in unmanned systems. It would provide immediate, long-term funding by placing that capital directly into Ukrainian hands, sending a clear message to Russia that time is not on their side.

Under the current setup, Russia is comfortable knowing that European cowardice protects their assets from being given away during an active conflict. This money must never be returned to Moscow, and giving it to Ukraine represents just a fraction of the massive reparations they should be obligated to pay for what they have done.

It is time for Europe to step up and make the transfer directly to Ukraine.
If they do not, they are simply being cowards. The only silver lining is that the money will still be available to be handed over when Ukraine runs out of its current financial packages, but choosing to delay the transfer is a pathetic failure of leadership

Russian military bloggers are panicking over explosive new reports regarding Ukraine's domestic arms manufacturing. Ukraine is reportedly building an arsenal of up to 10,000 long-range drones alongside its devastating new ballistic missile: the FP-9, developed by the Ukrainian defense startup Fire Point.

The leaked technical specifications showcased in Poland change the entire dynamic of the war:

Range: 855 km (Putting Moscow and all of occupied Crimea easily within striking distance).

Warhead: A massive 800 kg payload—significantly heavier than Russia's own Iskander missiles.

Speed: Over 1,200 meters per second, making it an absolute nightmare for failing Russian air defenses to intercept.

The Strategic Threat to CrimeaIf these capabilities are deployed, this isn't just a standard drone raid—it is a coordinated plan to permanently sever the primary logistical artery of the peninsula: the Kerch Bridge and the connecting supply routes.
Once the FP-9 hits full operational scale this fall, Crimea risks becoming a total trap for the occupiers. If the bridges and ferry crossings are destroyed by these heavy warheads, escaping the peninsula will become practically impossible. Furthermore, all supplies of fuel, food, and military equipment will be cut off, starving the Russian occupation forces out.

Ukraine is making it clear they are no longer relying on Western restrictions—they are building their own heavy strategic weapons with European backing. Putin's "impenetrable fortress" in Crimea is looking more fragile by the day! 🍿🇺🇦
