Teachers are allowed to appeal 1s and 2s, all we are asking is to be able to appeal 3s as some deserving students may not get college credit they worked so hard for. Congrats on your scores btw!

@iwantburritos2 @virtueemoir29 @AP_Trevor Some people who were very prepared may have got less than a 4/5 because of improper calibration on scoring. College board did their best but when a reader is grading question over and over again mistakes can be made. I will say they aren’t random and they are properly trained

@yyu1230_gra @AP_Trevor There weren’t enough controls in place to guarantee scores were as accurate in years past. In psych for example they only had two questions, each scored by single graders. If someone made an error grading even one of the two questions it could be the difference between a 2 and 4

@AP_Trevor Agreed 3s should be open to rescores. Imagine a student gets a 2 rescores to a 4. Their college only takes 4s and 5s. Other student gets a 3. Should have got a 4. No college credit. That’s not equitable.

@AP_Trevor @CollegeBoard In the spirit of equity, can a student who received a 3 be adjudicated? They will not receive college credit at their school with a 3 and I feel as their teacher and an ap table leader they earned at least a 4. Thanks for your consideration!

@AP_Trevor That student just got an email saying he has a scheduled retake. We are confused . He says he followed all directions and sent the emails with his responses. wish we could see them before June 30 to confirm they went through. I’d hate for him to lose out on a chance for credit

@AP_Trevor I had a student who failed to submit ap psych. He emailed his response. On my ap today I can see his first question actually went through. Can you guarantee his test will be scored accurately? I’m worried his q1 will be graded and emails ignored?

@MisisipiQ @TrashForAizawa There curve is a myth. They rate the exam beforehand to determine what should be a 3, 4, 5. Usually creates a bit of a bell shaped curve but cut scores are actually set before the exams are graded
