People keep saying we’re entering the “Vibe Designing” era.
Honestly, I don’t think so.
Design is not code. And it’ll never work the exact same way.
Yeah, AI can help a lot.
It can speed things up, generate directions, throw out ideas, and make parts of the process easier.
But design?
Design still needs taste.
It needs thinking.
It needs judgment.
A tool can give you screens.
Cool.
But who decides if the flow actually makes sense?
Who decides what the user should see first?
What builds trust?
What feels simple?
What feels confusing?
What should stay and what should go?
That’s the part people keep skipping.
Good design was never just about making pretty UI.
It’s about making decisions. Real ones.
So nah, I don’t really believe in “Vibe Designing” as this thing that replaces designers.
AI is absolutely become part of the workflow. No doubt.
But design will still need designers.
Because at the end of the day, someone still has to think.
