Our palaeontologists worked with their counterparts from @UniofOxford to uncover a huge expanse of quarry floor filled with hundreds of different prehistoric footprints on Britain’s ‘dinosaur highway’ https://t.co/UIWhfbCV8y
@Shunkup@geology_johnson It’s difficult to see from photos, but it looks to me that the ‘body’ outline is an artefact of where has been exposed, and you’re seeing only part of a bigger animal. Could it be a partially exposed eldoniid?
🌳 We were pleased to welcome Martin Lisec to the Geopark this week.
🖼️ His artwork is helping us to tell the story of our ancient fossils, and how animal life first evolved around 560 million years ago!
There are now 3 models on permanent display at @morethanadodo aka the Oxford University Museum of Natural History made by TS3D, including this tardigrade model in a new display case. Tonight was the launch event for these new displays.
