Well @AmericanAir, DMs did not help. I was only given false info (“they will contact you when your bag arrives,” but that was 24 hours ago). I finally got a phone call in but I still have nothing other than “someone will contact you”. Hard to keep believing this.

Hey @AmericanAir, I’m stuck 2 days in a foreign country without my bag. I can’t call from here (Int’l plan somehow still can’t call your numbers) and I can’t seem to get any information about when or how it will be delivered. Hotel is trying to help but not getting info.

, it's been 5 days. I've spent more time on hold than on planes and still no sign of my bags. I'd ask if there's an escalation path, but that's another 2 hour hold if I was lucky enough to call the right number. You know I have a job, right?

@AmericanAir I tried to ask them, but their phone number just tells me to use the website, just like all other AA phone numbers. Getting told I can use the website gets old when it has never contained any information other than "Bag Status: Open" / "Track your bag: Not Available."

@AmericanAir The airport personnel at TYS only mentioned the one bag that was since delivered to me. I have no idea what happened to the other one. Are you sure the other one is actually there?
