@glennmid10001@JH_Investments Two different answers based on how you posed the question. 100% of people have the opportunity to earn that much. How many jobs there CURRENTLY are at that figure I don’t know, but it’s not a finite amount. If you’re good, one will be made for you, or you’ll replace someone.
@1990Cuppers@JohnHundeslit@pgboyce It’s not a belief. It is fact. Sure, there is a cost of living issue, rising at the same rate for everyone. But inequality is flat. I agree inequality is too high, but to say it is increasing is just incorrect.
@DaDiscordDev5a@NickLincoln You could stop playing games on discord and work to get a better paid job though. This is the difficulty with where the line should be drawn on personal choice / accountability and genuine need of support.
@ZachLowy He gave him a yellow because he came up to the ref shouting that the ref had stopped play to check on him, and the ball basically went exactly back to where it was going before stoppage.
@ZachLowy Skycam fair enough, don’t know about that. The 50/50 in the box was literally shove that wasn’t being returned. If you’re arguing 50/50 that’s much closer to the penalty England were disallowed. And the Pickford foul I assumed was a yellow for the player shouting at ref..
@AaronBastani The logic falls down as it relates to Israel. We get far more out of a relationship with them than Palestine, but would they apply this same ‘benefit / agreement with a dodgy sovereign country to better UK’? If not, it’s more likely an ideological decision.. which is worse.
@Jonathan_Hinder ‘Now, we know that this won’t work, and will actually make the nation poorer than it is now, particularly those voting for it, but it is morally right to do anyway.’
@Jonathan_Hinder Do moral grounds matter if it won’t actually work?! Regardless of ‘overwhelming public support’ - how was the question posed? I bet it didn’t explain the real risk of it actually reducing net tax take for welfare.
