My new challenge is to watch as many films as I can in a year.
They can be first watches & rewatches.
So my first film of this challenge is a rewatch in the cinema
1. Rocky 5
Remember in your/your parents/grandparents time
There were signs on restaurants/pubs/hotels in the UK saying
No blacks
No Irish
No dogs
That wasn’t that long ago, so to think this mentality has completely gone away is a bit naive.
It needs addressing
Maybe some of these are factors?

@Bendijim Yeah I get from a primitive view that you might feel safer near people who look like you etc
But it’s 2026 and I’d like to think people would have evolved enough to understand that they aren’t the centre of the world!
It's absolutely baffling to see the backlash against this announcement.
Imagine complaining that the UK is securing a multi-billion-pound private investment.
Let's look at the actual numbers: taxpayers are funding £1.3bn for local roads & a new rail station. In return, Universal is spending £5 billion to build the park and another £1 billion operating it.
Bedford(& the UK) gets 28,000 total jobs, a massive revitalization of a former industrial site, & a projected £50 billion economic boost.
The sheer cynicism around projects like this is exactly what holds the UK back. If we treat massive, job-creating investments as something to be outraged about, we only guarantee our own economic stagnation.
IF you want British people to live longer, you’d need to put more money in the NHS
Then when people live longer, you’d need to pay them more pensions & care.
We’d all say longer & healthier lives is a good thing
But a lot of you would get angry paying more in taxes for it.
😭🇫🇷 Rayan Cherki on his pose in the France team photo:
“Nah… Don’t talk about that. It’s a matter of respect, I was standing next to the Minister.
I couldn’t be above her, or have her seen less than me. So I crouched down!”
The Guardian reports that Reform UK have got
Another £3m from foreign based crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne
And £4m from another crypto billionaire Ben Delo
Oh... So all those Reformorons tying themselves in mental knots trying to justify the word "rage", here it is, straight from your glorious leader's mouth.
I have more @TheJoeyHayes t shirts than I do

Henry Nowak's mother has said:
"We are a family who have friends across faith and race, and so did Henry. We want his memory to help bring our society together."
And there you have it.
I think it’s got to the point now where decent people HAVE to point out how thick/scummy/evil racist people are
& we certainly HAVE to stop trying to accommodate them!
They NEED to try & better themselves to fit into a decent society,
We shouldn’t lower our standards
We keep hearing that men’s testosterone levels are falling and we are meant to be worried about it.
Doesn’t testosterone make men angry?
What’s Putin & Trumps testerones levels?
When testosterone levels were higher, weren’t countries always at war with each other?
Watch Keir Starmer call out Nigel Farage over his response to the Henry Nowak murder:
"He pretends to have respect for Henry's family & then acts in this way... his response has been to appeal for rage... it shows exactly who he is."
#PMQs
At these protests/riots inevitably quite a few of them do Nazi style salutes
Has anyone in the media ever asked Nigel Farage what he makes of that?
Being a British “patriot” and admiring Adolf Hitler is a bit of an oxymoron isn’t it?
Imagine being so desperate for money & power that you’d be willing to needlessly put British police officers in harms way.
Like Brexit, Nigel Farage fabricates a problem & then tells you that he is the solution!
