Dorie's notes:  Oh Nesta!  She is such a delightfully prickly character, but the beginning of the book was pretty hard.  Hang in there, though!  I loved the friendships she develops and the hardships they overcome together.  And of course, Cassian and Nesta are just *sigh.*

Jill’s notes: Cards on the table: My feelings toward Nesta aligned more with Rhys’s than Cassian’s at the beginning, but SJM is the queen of complex characters and complex emotions (think, Chaol). This book will give you darkness, acceptance, anger and love, and friendship♥️
