🇷🇺🇯🇵 I'm not going to comment much on Russia-Japan relations as I have respect for the sensible Japanese people.

Within the span of 8 days, PM Takaichi refused to acknowledge the US responsible for dropping the atomic bomb on a civilian population, instead tilted her attention to declaring Russia an aggressive state and laying claims to the Kuril Islands which Japan lost as reparations in WW2.

The "aggressive state" wasn't the one who murdered millions in Korea and China, it wasn't Russia that carried out human experiments of POWs. Japan invaded Russia multiple times in the past and just like Poland, I share no animosity towards past conflicts. Japan lost to the Red Army and paid a lesser price than the nukes the US dropped, which it should be grateful for.

That's all in the past, to PM Takaichi, show some respect, talking only embarrasses you and creates a rift between both nations. The Kuril Islands remain Russian now and forever. If any further action is taken there will be terrible consequences. To the Japanese people once again, keep the peace as it has been kept for decades.
