UPDATE: Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital has received a sports arena constructed with funding from Watoto Ministries to support the rehabilitation of mental health patients. Hospital Director Dr Juliet Nakku said the facility would help prepare patients for reintegration into their communities, noting that exercise can stimulate the release of brain chemicals that help alleviate symptoms of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety.

President Kagame responds to those who say: "Formula 1 is too big for a small country like Rwanda."
I tell those people to take a deep breath and calm down, and wait to see what is coming.
First, we are people, like the people of other parts of the world. There is nothing, no event, nothing that is bigger than people.
So, we are a small country, but we are a people.
Formula One is big indeed, but it is not a goal just in itself. In fact, Formula One is part of the big picture of what Rwanda has to do.
We made progress as a country, as a people, but also for this particular Formula One, as a sport for Africa.
We are not looking at just Rwanda alone. We are looking at Rwanda in the context of the continent, and we have indeed ambitions to bring in other African brothers and sisters to participate.
It is Rwandan, it is African, and it is a big deal that we are very happy to be associated with.
The exact moment a Russian billionaire realized he wasn’t the one calling the shots.
In 2009, Vladimir Putin visited the struggling Russian town of Pikalyovo, where he publicly confronted billionaire businessman Oleg Deripaska during a deepening economic crisis.
With factories shut down and workers left without pay, Putin demanded that Deripaska sign an agreement to restart production and restore operations. In front of television cameras, Putin pushed a pen toward him and insisted he sign the document immediately. Deripaska complied, creating one of the most memorable political confrontations of the time.
The exchange quickly became a powerful demonstration of the Kremlin’s authority over Russia’s wealthiest businessmen. Beyond the economic dispute, the televised confrontation sent a clear message: even the country’s most influential billionaires were ultimately subject to Putin’s power.
Too far? It was very stupid action from whatever angle one looks at it- Political, military, Strategic, MORAL ALL!
To kill an 87 year old man-Ayatollah wasn't only criminal, but absolutely foolish. It galvanised and United the Iranian nation than anything seen before...
So Mr Trump's regret is not that they have "no one to talk to"- just trying sound clever....; rather it is that NO ONE SERIOUS WANTS TO TALK TO AMERICA...they are RADICALIZED BEYOND MEASURE!
Otherwise, who is keeping HORMUZ SHUT if everyone is dead?
It's called OWN GOAL!

# Why Can. Dr. Byabashaija Was Awarded the Exemplary Service Medal, Class I
The Commissioner General of Prisons, Can. Dr. Johnson Byabashaija, was awarded the Exemplary Service Medal, Class I of the Uganda Prisons Service during Uganda’s 64th Independence Day celebrations in recognition of more than four decades of service and his contribution to the growth of the institution.
Dr. Byabashaija has served Uganda Prisons Service for over 40 years, rising through the ranks before his appointment as Commissioner General of Prisons in 2005. During his tenure, the Service has made changes in administration, security, rehabilitation, staff development and prison production.
Under his leadership, Uganda Prisons Service has placed greater emphasis on offender reform through education, vocational training and productive work. These programmes equip prisoners with practical skills that can help them earn a living and reintegrate into their communities after release.
He has also overseen the development of prison production programmes, particularly in agriculture and manufacturing. Besides supporting the Service’s operational needs, these activities give prisoners opportunities to learn through practical work and contribute to production.
Modernisation efforts under his leadership have included improvements in security and intelligence systems, staff and prisoner welfare, and the expansion of prison industries. Training and professional development programmes have also helped strengthen the skills and performance of prison staff.
Can. Dr. Byabashaija has further supported cooperation with development partners and local communities to improve rehabilitation programmes and strengthen public understanding of the work of Uganda Prisons Service.
His years at the helm have seen the Service continue to develop its correctional role, with attention to education, vocational skills, productive activities and preparing prisoners for life after release.
The Exemplary Service Medal, Class I recognises his long record of service and contribution to the development of Uganda Prisons Service. The award also acknowledges his role in advancing institutional reforms, improving professional capacity and expanding the Service’s contribution to national development.
There is too much pain in this man’s voice, you can feel how much he loves his country and it’s people. His patriotism is not taught in Kyankwanzi otherwise we would have already seen the members from that side sharing this message.

For 64 years, Uganda has written its own story, built on a simple yet profound idea: every person should have the power to determine their own destiny.

🚨Formula one returns to Africa in Rwanda from 2030
The plan is a permanent circuit about 40 km from Kigali, near Bugesera International Airport, designed by WurzDesign , Alexander Wurz’s firm.
I would wish to appreciate the efforts of Lewis Hamilton in championing for a Grand prix to be held in Africa.
Special Thanks to H.E Paul Kagame for making this come true.
