Today's newsletter is the story of how Prabhakar Raghavan, Google's former head of ads - led a coup so that he could run Google Search, and how an email chain from 2019 began a cascade of events that would lead to him running it into the ground.

It occurs to me that there might be a lot of furry musicians out there who don’t know how to put their music up on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, and it’s actually quite easy to do. Always down to help out and chat about how to do this.

[Alkenta / Amp @AlkentaWildcat]

Wachi's music is really cool y'all should check it out ^^

[Genki @DjGenki]

You’re up next

[Kainu @djkainu]

@ice_foxx You aren't. Don't beat yourself up. Hydrate & get some rest 💛

[Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis @RevJacquiLewis]

18 years old and writing about white genocide before he went out to massacre Black folks buying groceries.

But tell me again how we don’t need antiracism education in schools.

[Genki @DjGenki]

Feels good

[Kainu @djkainu]

@AlkentaWildcat After thinking more on it, I guess we can still get the big offline library experience with the smaller iPads, hadn’t really considered them til now

[Kainu @djkainu]

Apple discontinuing the iPod, one of the only ways to listen to shit tons of music without internet access or spam call interruptions :(

[Kainu @djkainu]

@AlkentaWildcat I think Chorca had some open source music player recommendations, but they seemed way more hardware-only focused, lacking a screen to navigate playlists and all that

[Kainu @djkainu]

It’s clear they haven’t been paying much attention to iPod - there are some pretty bad UI bugs right now :(

[Kainu @djkainu]

Same, I hate they’re ditching this. Hire me to maintain it, Apple :(

[vey 🌵🐾 @Veyote]

I still buy music ✨

[HIYU 🚀 @HiyuMarten]

There’s still two more days to go, right guys? Guys?
