• ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ‘ਗੁਰੂ ਦੋਖੀ’ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਆਮ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸਰਵੋਚ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜ ਪੈਣ ‘ਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

• ਜਦੋਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ‘ਤੇ ਤਲਬ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਫੇਕ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਫੇਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਜੋ ਬੰਦਾ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੋਟੋਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ ਛਿੱਟੇ ਮਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਵਾਲ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੰਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਦਾਰੇ ਇਸ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਤਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ?

• ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਆ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਅੱਜ ਜਦੋਂ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ‘ਗੁਰੂ ਦੋਖੀ’ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ‘ਤੇ?

• ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਚੁੱਪੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ‘ਗੁਰੂ ਦੋਖੀ’ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਇਸ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਦੇਵੇ? ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਜੀ, ਜੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ …..

• ਹੋਰ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਬੋਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਤਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ? ਆਖ਼ਿਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਬਲਤੇਜ ਪੰਨੂ ਹੀ ਪੱਗ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਉਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਤਰਫ਼ਦਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?

• ਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਲਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ। ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਨਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ।

• ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਬਰਗਾੜੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਸੀ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖੁਦ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਕੁੰਵਰ ਵਿਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਰਗਾੜੀ ਘਟਨਾ ‘ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ।

• ਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ, ਨਾ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ।ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

. @harjotbains Ji, while I appreciate your Mission Clean Punjab initiative, the real test lies in Amritsar. Next year, the holy city will celebrate 450 years of its foundation. Before the celebrations begin, please ensure that the andruni bazaars and areas surrounding Sri Harmandir Sahib are free from overflowing garbage. Equally important is the removal of the decades-old Bhagtanwala dump, which continues to be a blot on the city’s image. We are in the 21st century, and if cities across the world can solve such problems, surely Amritsar can too. The city that welcomes millions of devotees every year deserves better. Many of us are ready to support this effort, but the time to act is now, before the 450-year celebrations.

Punjab’s youth are being lathi-charged by the AAP government for demanding jobs and justice, while these very same AAP leaders are busy tweeting in support of the Cockroach Janta Party.

What happened to all those lectures about standing with young people? Is the youth of Delhi and the Cockroach Janta Party different from the youth of Punjab? Do they have separate definitions for young voices and their struggles?

When it suits their politics, they celebrate the power of youth. When Punjab’s youth raise their voice, they are met with batons instead of support.
