@TheCriticalDri2 Would you consider the 1976 BBC classic, I Claudius for Drinker Recommends? I've just watched it for the 1st time this week & was blown away. It's pure class. Unbelievable cast, stellar acting, and an incredible plot. And you get to see Patrick Stewart with hair

@ElimuAnn @SP_EnergyPeople @ScottishPower Thanks for the suggestion of the Resolver. I'm not sure it's of any use ATM as I've already submitted a hefty looking case to the ombudsman services.
I'll bookmark the resolver service as I'll probably need it again when dealing with these clowns in the future.

@SP_EnergyPeople @ScottishPower Oh yes, they are also trying the same with my dad who's a pensioner. They keep sending him ever-increasing bills and snotty letters. He also left SP years ago but it hasn't stopped them from trying to extract a profit from an old man.

@ElimuAnn @SP_EnergyPeople @ScottishPower Thanks and will do. I contacted their debit collection agency. Apparently, they hand-delivered a court letter to us in April. We never received it. Turns out they issued it to the wrong house. They couldn't even get that right.I have the whole conversation and admission recorded

@ElimuAnn @SP_EnergyPeople @ScottishPower They did the same with my elderly dad. His meter was removed years ago but they still send bills and request meter readings.They were the ones who removed it in the first place. 😩Idiots
There're no meters in our properties as power is supplied by a turbine & a biz supplier

SP bought out my old supplier who we left in 2016. Without warning, they started sending us bills in Jan 2020. Contacted them multiple times about this and nothing ever gets done. Worst customer service ever

The saga continues. We no longer have an account with you. You removed the meter from our property the other month. Yet you still send me bills. And now you're threatening me with court action and bailiffs. You take incompetency to new levels

@SP_EnergyPeople You are certainly slow at resolving issues but when it comes to unnecessary billing and threatening letters you are quick at getting them out. BTW, I'd love you to take me to court about this. It'd be great showing the judge just how incompetent you really are

@SP_EnergyPeople My de-energized meter is on the national records, has been since 2016-2017. Sent this to SP as proof. Guess what happens. I get told 'again' that someone is looking into it. Meanwhile, keep getting billed.
