@torybruno The landscape at Cape doesn't help (too shallow with lots of water pools) and the barriers usually very open (most of the time dont even stop aligators :) ). Are the buildings rated to stand floods like these? Cant imagine the aftermath

@torybruno Streamline those beautifull BE4 engines must be a challenge. The pace of making Vulcans is limited by the BE4? Or are they made based on the customer demand?

@torybruno True fact. But that means others can apply a higher pace on R&D which might distance further from ULA in that future...maybe thats how they succeed on their promisses? Hope ULA balances this effort

@torybruno We all do. Provides maneuverability but we have to remember that landing on ground is harder than at sea. In case of abort, can dreamchase land in any other place or does it need a specific pit conditions like spaceshuttles?

@torybruno Since these metals are strong (but heavy), would it worth the challenge to make the nozzles like the exaust of a F15 jet where could adjust from sealevel to their best performance during ascend? Kind of aerospike? Or the increase in performance wouldnt worth?

@elonmusk @SpaceX couldnt we use a sealevel engine with a temporary blast ring that would be discarded after max-Q? Something cheap to replace of course (protected with tile alike element)...just curious what simulations would show
