[David Mashiko @djmash]

[David Mashiko @djmash]

[David Mashiko @djmash]

3/4. It’s no longer a constitution for the people, but for the government to forward their interests despite the people!

[David Mashiko @djmash]

1/4. Anyone who thinks that the LDP has no desire to go to war, or repress the people, should read the amendments they want to make to the constitution. (Highlight Text and Press Translate, yo!)

3/4. They also open the door to detaining and torturing those who would oppose them by removing key phrases that prevent the government from doing so.
Not only that but they allow for any prime minister to be the supreme commander of the military.

[David Mashiko @djmash]

2/4. Not only do they remove passages about the government not being able to go to war, but they effectively give themselves the power to quash protest, destroy freedom of speech and human rights, and allow themselves to conscript the population as their “duty to the country”.

Hard to believe this was created in 2004. Infinitely more relevant since the LDP (questionably) won their supermajority.

If you look closely the signs are all around the world. We’re all gearing up for war!

.@ZelenskyyUa's tv address to the Russian (!) people might be the most moving speech that I've ever seen in my entire life. The whole world needs to see, understand and share this crucial Ukrainian message.
