In resus last night:
2 cardiac arrests
2 code reds
4 traumas
2 stroke calls
Multiple more medical priorities
Emotionally and physically exhausted and paid just over £13 an hour for this.
Support the strikes to pay nurses and doctors fairly.
We are worth it.
People are like I’m traveling to Dubai 😎 where homosexuality is punishable by death 🤪 and a husband can legally beat his wife 🙃 and the women of the royal family have made multiple escape attempts but some are still being held captive 😅 anyways what hotels should I visit

It’s so disheartening that the government did absolutely nothing over the two years of the pandemic to improve Emergency Departments, I really thought the days of old people sitting on plastic chairs for days were behind us but we’re right back to it. Awful for patients AND staff
My brothers gf is an ED nurse in Dublin. She came home from a night shift in tears. Only 7 nurses on duty when there should be 14. Patients waiting 3 hours to be triaged.
The missing nurses aren't out sick. They've quit due to burnout, low pay & conditions. Issue not just Covid
Social butterfly me thinking about restrictions lifting: 🥰✨❤️🍾🎉🙌🎀💃🏻🤪💄🕺🏼👡🥂🥳🤩
Norse me thinking about being on nights in the ED during the weekend of restrictions lifting: 🤮⛑😡😅🚑🤷🏻♀️😷🤕😟🤯🤬😨👀☕️🥊💔
It'll be great to see all the people who protested so passionately about Covid restrictions, now use that energy to hit the streets in support of the homeless; those in direct provision; and other marginalised & opressed groups 👍
