@BenjaminGolan Both Iowa and Iowa State had kids that lost eligibility due to what turned out to be an illegal investigation, and the dollar amounts were fractions of what Sorsby gambled, and many of them even bet on other sports they were not involved in…but yeah, it’s because TTU got better

@ejfitz24 @PeteThamel Iowa and Iowa State players got caught gambling by what turned out to be an illegal investigation and the court case was thrown out. The NCAA penalty still applied. Why?? Because they still GAMBLED!! Rules are rules no matter the circumstances.

@johnsears @KeithMurphy The extremely sad part of this is that he’s going to get a TTU fan as a judge and will be playing in 2026. The NCAA is a paper tiger and has no real authority anymore since athletes learned they can just file a lawsuit and find a judge to rule in their favor.

@On3 @keithmurphy It will be interesting to see what happens with this one from an NCAA perspective. They suspended athletes in Iowa based on an illegal investigation so they need to be consistent and suspend him, as well.
