@Casleigh777 @PeggiBosquez From someone who has to go “egg fishing” on the regular: a citrus fruit picker basket works wonders and they’re typically on a telescopic pole! Or, if they’re not too far in, one of those tennis ball throwers for dogs will scoop them up!

@morgan181525 @PeggiBosquez Unfortunately on such a small farm, money and space are where we get our permission from. We can do our absolute best and still end up having to make the hard decisions like this because we have to take ALL of our responsibility into consideration. Its a hard balance

@PeggiBosquez I’m going to keep all the Isabel’s back so I’m sure there’s gonna be a rooster in those (the paler colored ones) so we can just pick the sweetest biggest one from those before we process! My newest genetics for my lavender Orpingtons are pretty dang big, too.
