North strand cycle track blocked by truck (which did three-point turn across track and then parked) during rush hour (8.50am)
@Feljin_J@dublincycling@DubCityCouncil can you please get bollards installed to prevent trucks from being able to mount pavement?
@Feljin_J Multiple vehicles parked on the open section of the north-strand bicycle lane today. People hopping off bikes and walking on the road around them
@bilawalsidhu The physical infrastructure potential is great but layering crime stats is more problematic as it's potentially a biased metric (it's more a function of where crime is detected v happening and there can be many reasons why it is logged).
Congratulations to @Feljin_J on getting elected to represent Cabra and Glasnevin! We're over the moon to see such a great candidate get onto the council! ๐

@DubCityCouncil I'm very excited about this (as I use this route daily). Is there a plan to create a temporary alternative route for cyclists who currently use this canal path for commuting?
@KeeksBlad@dubtaxiscum @dublin_8 I just learned about the classification today - stands for Small Public Service Vehicle:

Though in this case it's performing a public dis-service
Last year, I went through 22 planning applications for these eir 'telephone kiosks' which are primarily just advertising units. This week, I made 7 planning enforcement complaints to Dublin City Council and hope to submit several more.
