@ctherien6 Devastating, cruel, unkind, passive-aggressive move by a coach. I’m bitter towards my son’s junior coach to this day because he did this 3 times to him during the 100 plus games he played for him.

Had a lot of coaches try to push buttons over the years but the worst thing a coach can do to a player on any level is bench or scratch him in his hometown with lots of friends and family on hand. You have to be certain of what that player's character makeup is to deal with that.
