Polygamy is contrary to the created order of marriage, "The two shall be one flesh."
The Old Testament states that kings shall not multiply wives.
They did it anyway and it caused problems.
Jesus spoke of marriage between a husband and a wife...not wives.
A simple reading of the Bible, and I've read it several times, shows us that polygamy was never commanded, but when it was practiced, it brought trouble.
In the New Testament we are told that a church overseer can only be the husband of one wife.
This simple command made Joseph Smith a false unbiblical church leader.
Mormonisms attempt to make polygamy sound like it is supported by the Bible is a big fail.
In fact, the main reason which led to the death of Joseph Smith was his secret practice of polygamy which was being exposed by a newspaper.
He had the printing press destroyed which led to his arrest and death.
He lied in a speech, denying having multiple wives, fifteen days before he had the newspaper destroyed.
In the same speech, Joseph Smith boasted that he was greater than Jesus at holding a church together.
He was shot dead one month and one day after lying that he did not have multiple wives and blaspheming God by saying he was greater than Jesus at holding a church together.
Joseph Smith was a false prophet.
The deceived do not know they are living under the deception.

BREAKING: Tesla has officially released FSD V14.3
I'm downloading it in my Model Y right now. Here's everything that's new:
• Improved parking location pin prediction, now shown on a map with a P icon.
• Increased decisiveness of parking spot selection and maneuvering.
• Rewrote the Al compiler and runtime from the ground up with MLIR, resulting in 20% faster reaction time and improving model iteration speed.
• Enhanced response to emergency vehicles, school buses, right-of-way violators, and other rare vehicles.
• Mitigated unnecessary lane biasing and minor tailgating behaviors.
• Improved handling of small animals by focusing RL training on harder examples and adding rewards for better proactive safety.
• Improved traffic light handling at complex intersections with compound lights, curved roads, and yellow light stopping - driven by training on hard RL examples sourced from the Tesla fleet.
• Upgraded the Reinforcement Learning (RL) stage of training the FSD neural network, resulting in improvements in a wide variety of driving scenarios.
• Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, improving understanding in rare and low-visibility scenarios, strengthening 3D geometry understanding, and expanding traffic sign understanding.
• Improved handling for rare and unusual objects extending, hanging, or leaning into the vehicle path by sourcing infrequent events from the fleet.
• Improved handling of temporary system degradations by maintaining control and automatically recovering without driver intervention, reducing unnecessary disengagements.
Upcoming Improvements:
• Expand reasoning to all behaviors beyond destination handling.
• Add pothole avoidance.
• Improve driver monitoring system sensitivity with better eye gaze tracking, eye wear handling, and higher accuracy in variable lighting conditions.
@MucusMucous1@Faustzme True but there is only one reality. And the goal should be to change our perception of God to the reality of the one true God. Thankfully he's given us a lot to work with through his creation and Scripture.
Rape victims are often accused of adultery under Sharia law if they report being raped by married Muslim men.
Here is a shocking example:
A 13-year-old girl in Somalia was raped by an adult Muslim man. Instead of punishing him, an Islamic Sharia court sentenced her to death because her married rapist claimed she had “seduced” him by appearing in public. The court agreed and convicted her of adultery.
Hundreds of Muslim men gathered to stone her to death as an offering to Allah. They laughed, cheered, and shouted “Allahu Akbar” as she screamed in agony until her last breath. Not one man stepped forward to save the 13-year-old rape victim.
Everyone in the village heard her cries for help before the execution. Instead of intervening, they tied her hands behind her back and chained her feet. The local imam directed men to dig a hole and bury her up to her waist so she could not move or dodge the stones aimed at her head.
For hours before and during the stoning, she begged for mercy, looking toward her neighbors, her father, and every Muslim man taking part. Until her final breath, she cried out, but no one rescued her. Of the hundreds of men present, none showed compassion. The participants gladly joined this Islamic act of worship, ignoring her pleas and rejoicing with “Allahu Akbar” while brutally killing her.

Caesar's scorn for dog-moms—
From Plutarch's Life of Pericles: "Caesar once, seeing some wealthy strangers at Rome, carrying up and down with them in their arms and bosoms young puppy-dogs and monkeys, embracing and making much of them, took occasion not unnaturally to ask whether the women in their country were not used to bear children; by that prince-like reprimand gravely reflecting upon persons who spend and lavish upon brute beasts that affection and kindness which nature has implanted in us to be bestowed on those of our own kind."
Capitalism doesn’t assume humans aren’t greedy. It assumes they are and refuses to give them power over others.
That’s the point.
Greed under capitalism is constrained by consent. You only get richer by offering something others voluntarily choose to pay for. If you stop providing value, the money stops.
Greed under collectivism is unconstrained. It’s backed by force. You get resources whether you create value or not, so long as you can moralize need or capture political power.
Also, capitalism doesn’t pit competition against cooperation. Competition is how we discover who can cooperate best. Every successful business is a massive act of cooperation with customers, workers, suppliers, and investors. It just isn’t coerced cooperation.
And the claim that capitalists never give back is empirically false. Private charity, philanthropy, reinvestment, and voluntary aid explode under capitalist systems and collapse under socialist ones.
What you’re really saying is this:
You don’t trust individuals to choose generosity. You trust the state to enforce it.
That isn’t moral. It’s just replacing voluntary cooperation with compulsory obedience.
