STEVE JOBS GOT FIRED FROM APPLE.
Then he walked straight into MIT and dropped the most raw, unfiltered 60-minute business masterclass ever recorded.

WHEN I SOLD OUR HOUSE
In 2007, at the age of 27, my spouse and I made the decision to establish our residence in the scenic locality of Entebbe. However, five years into the establishment of Joadah Consult, our entrepreneurial venture, we encountered a financial hurdle in sustaining the company.
Despite being endowed with two valuable assets—our residential property and the land upon which our office building now stands—we found ourselves confronted with the pressing need to infuse much-needed capital into the business. The prospect of liquidating our home emerged as the most viable solution, as the option of compromising the land housing our offices was non-negotiable.
One evening, I approached my wife and presented a compelling case for selling our cherished home. I emphasized that this strategic move would not only alleviate our immediate financial strain but also position us to secure lucrative business deals. Persuaded by the potential benefits, she agreed, and remarkably, within a week, we identified a buyer and concluded the sale, relinquishing our status as homeowners. Subsequently, we transitioned to a rented accommodation.
This episode underscores a fundamental principle in the world of business—the importance of acquiring assets that can serve as financial buffers during lean periods. Invariably, every business encounters downturns or "low seasons," and having robust assets becomes a crucial factor in weathering such challenges.
The experience also imparts a valuable lesson—entrepreneurs should not hesitate to strategically divest assets to inject much-needed capital into their ventures. This calculated approach to recapitalization can be instrumental in steering a business through financial uncertainties and fostering its long-term growth.
People are literally attacking MrBeast for helping people.
Mr Beast literally just built 100 wells in Africa to give about 500,000 people fresh water to drink.
Instead of criticizing Mr Beast for using his clout and money to help save lives, why aren't people asking why no one else did this first?
Who cares if helping people gets Mr. Beast more subscribers. What he's doing is nothing short of amazing!
Way to go @MrBeast!
Two young professionals are earning the same amount of money:
One drives a R500k BMW with a R450k car loan but only has R1k in the bank; people think he's rich.
The other drives a R100k Polo with no car loan but has R500k in the bank (savings and investments); people think he's broke.
We can't deny that nice cars reflect our status, but wealth is what we can't see now; it becomes apparent later in life, as generational wealth.
P.S. There's no right or wrong; everyone decides what's best for them.
@kylegriffin1 As I said last year…
If you’re starting with the premise that Donald Trump is a completely innocent, billionaire, ex-President then you have to ask yourself, where are all the lawyers?
If I were part of @LandRover global marketing, I'd keep an eye on the difference its legendary vehicle is making in #Malawi's response to the chilling effects of #CycloneFreddy in southern #Africa. Hauling relief items to hard-to-reach areas, this is a great endorsement. #Thanks
