White people in America should never again talk about criminal behavior, amongst Black people, immigrants, or anyone else when they are literally casting ballots for a convicted felon to be president of the United States.
Every time the press says the vote in Georgia and Arizona is too early to call, they need to add: "because operatives including Russia keep calling in bomb threats and delaying the vote in swing states."
for 80 millionth time, the only reason Pennsylvania can't do this is because Republicans blocked a bill that would've allowed the pre-processing of early votes
I knocked doors in Michigan and told all of my friends, family, and occasional strangers on the street (no joke) to vote for Kyra and Kim, so this one got me kind of emotional.
The abortion rights measure in Florida 'lost' with 57% of the vote and 1.5 million more votes than the opposition.
And for what it's worth: Amendment 4 got a million more votes than Ron DeSantis did in 2022
CONGRATULATIONS ANGELA ALSOBROOKS, projected to defeat Larry Hogan for Senate in Maryland!!!
She joins Senator-elect Lisa Blunt Rochester as two Black Women achieve VICTORY in the U.S. Senate!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Want an example of a broken system? Florida DIDN’T “reject” the proposal to include a right to abortion in the constitution — they voted 58.2% in favor of abortion rights. But it needed 60% to pass, so it failed WITH A MAJORITY.
Can’t imagine what Florida women must be thinking.
If it has lost, keep in mind Amendment 4 got 1.5 million more votes and majority support - even though the governor used millions in taxpayer funds and the power of the state to run a voter intimidation and disinformation campaign.
That's an incredible thing
Andy Kim was elected to the U.S. Senate in a historic win that upended New Jersey politics. Kim will be country’s first Korean American senator. https://t.co/mNRjbzC2Ap
Lisa Blunt Rochester won election to the U.S. Senate from Delaware, becoming the state's first Black and first woman to serve in the role.
She is the fourth-ever Black woman to serve in the Senate.
Consider this: there could be millions more votes for the abortion rights amendment in Florida and it could still lose because of the massive 60% threshold
An elderly black man was slowly walking in with a cane, and I told him he could vote from his car and he said
“No thank you. I’ve been made to wait 8 hours and had to pay the poll tax. I’m going inside to vote.”
😭😭😭😭😭
I am literally crying and trying to pull myself together.
Please please be enough 🙏
@AkilahObviously Doc I know is on an ED shift and looked at the board: "paranoia and insomnia? Chest pain? Nausea/vomiting? Have we asked about the election stress?"
BREAKING: A judge in Northampton County refused to extend voting hours, despite waits of 6+ hours near Lehigh University. But if you’re in line at 8 p.m, you can vote. If the Banana Factory is your polling place and you haven’t voted yet, get in line by 8!
