It limits your pool of candidates who are willing to hitch their wagon to the holdover and has generally been a recipe for failure.

@AdamHBeasley A poor offensive line has been the faulty foundation on which the Dolphins have been trying to build for years. Meanwhile teams like the Lions and Vikings resurrect the careers of QB castoffs behind excellent OLs.
Miami has to fix its o-line issue.
